This morning, Di Pietro, Wilson & only 2 other directors were behind closed doors (not at the club) on a teleconference with the FFA. This discussion, including both the FFA's & MVFC's legals lasted close to 4 hours.

When i sent a text today to find out wtf was going on, the text i recieved was this "F@#king FFA throwing more spanners than a dodgy mechanic. We are jumping through hoops to get them to sign off. 4 hour teleconference this morning at club"

2nd text i received some hours later was "Press Conf was due at midday, however Di Petro lost it & shut down the whole club for any comment, to any media request. Bloke (Di Pietro) is a very angry man today, FFA continue to butt f@#k him, not a happy little spag"

followed by an email...

"Look, Harry to MVFC is 100% locked in by club, player & manager. FFA are being pricks & are doing eveything they can to jeopardise this move due to Sydney-centric sour grapes. I am still confident we will get him, but not before some ties with FFA cronies are broken. Some of the directors are over it & have expressed a desire to vacate their directorships at the end of the season coming. Some of these guys are multi millionaires & the football politics has well & truley got to them. They are disillusioned with this childish shit. Ego's are now at play & this deal could divide a previously stable club."

I then received a phone call to say that Bernie had agreed to the deal in principle however, if this carried on, he may wait until the end of the European transfer season until they make a decision (not sure if this is Bernie being a brash cunt or not). Was also told by bouth sources they could no longer say anything to me, as a lot was in the balance & the MD did not want any speculation to the public from in-house conversations. This was a directive sent from him to certain members of staff via email.

Thats all i have guys. Club is on tender hooks about this deal. Seems like ill have to speculate & wait it out like everyone else now. Was fun while it lasted.
