But the introduction of CCM and Syd FC youth teams might jeopardise their chances. how can it possibly jeopardise their chances? its a 12 team comp. one goes down, one goes up, add syd fc and ccm. thats 14. question will be, who goes down. not as clear cut as merely looking at the club championship ladder. You're a fool if you believe relegation is an easy process.FNSW don't believe in simplicity. The idea is to get 14 teams in Prem, Super, Div 1. The inclusion of FC and Mariners make the youth total to 14, and therefore if Spartans youth aren't in PYL, they can't effectively play a team in NSWPL. This then makes 14 teams in all leagues if Spartans stay put. Saying that, Spartans have put up their trial dates for PYL,and its during the PYL trial period, if that is anything to go by. FC and CC are apparently coming in 2013 now.

spartans have now made the final after beating the berries on penalties. in the elimination match st george beat macarthur 3-1. so the gf qualifier is west sydney berries against st george. and the winner to take on the spartans in the final
