Yeah, Perth's defense is looking very bare, particularly in the centre. It looks very likely that Djulbic will stay for next season. And then there's Tarka and Foxe who are both injury prone. Perth need another CB, there was a rumour a few months ago about a Slovenian, Cipot or something coming to Perth but apart from that, there's been nothing.

very likely, or very UNlikely?

Dino's a great centreback. Has a lapse in concentration now and then, but is reasonably young so you can forgive him for that. He made some great last minute tackles last year that more than makes up for it. Topor Stanley can play as a centreback as well. I'd figure one of Tarka or Foxe to get injured, but the other one should be available. Hopefully it's Foxe who goes down and Tarks can have another MGP-quality season for us like a couple of years back.

I'd rather see us sign some real full-backs. We've got CBs, thank you very much.

It's not even that advanced. Someone is picking up names of failed NSL players still bouncing around across the Tasman and making up links.

To be fair it's always amused me doing it and seeing people get frothy, but four in one week is overkill.

Aside from the fact that what you said makes no sense, why would it be Perth in particular? The guy's just gone, "oh yeah I'll just pick the teams that need players- that will look good".

Got some inside knowledge?

Unless he has an Oz passport, this would be a huge waste of a visa spot for anyone (except Phoenix) as NZ players count as visa spots for the Australian teams.

Hang on, did you hear he'll be in the A-League this season and take a rough guess at which team? Oh Perth and Newcastle need players must be one of them?
