We should do something about mk's ability to hear actually :-k and losing your KIDNEYS and having to spend 8 hours a day on dialysis wouldn't be much fun either. But you're not vegetative. You still have body function. You just know that in time you'll be paralysed. And at the same time, you know that once you reach that stage, the doctors have to keep you alive until they can't further justify it. Despite this your brain is fully functional in your head. It's not that you are vegetative, it's that you will slowly become vegetative over a series of months.
