We really appreciate your help, imnofreak. This is definitely getting out of hand we desperately need to find a solution very soon. Can registration be disabled altogether in the meantime? I know it's also highly time-consuming, but can't we have manual account approvals? Though it seems unlikely due to the way it's integrated into whole site, can we change forum software? Can't we limit the number of threads created per day by newly created accounts? Can't we ban users that post blacklisted URLs? What about users (must be at least 1 week old) being able to vote in favour or against certain threads and if they receive enough votes against, the thread will be locked/archived? Or what about being able to mute entire threads that have been created by specific users? Anyway, that's enough of my spam. I swear I'm not a bot, though.
