min wage in a-league is around $45k.
pl players are not paid over a lcander year, its per game they play (well the vast majority).
do the math and you'll see where you have erred in your calculations.

what you dont take into consideration pre-season training?

what 12 teams in the NSWPL? thats 22 game + cups games, thats another 4 or so, plus finals could be another 3.

not including preseason and only matches thats $52k...

like i said he would be getting more money then some HAL players.

theres a lot of activity right now. weve got a few new players. im feeling more optmisistic now. anyway, will be revealed in due course. not talking about hayes.

1800 a week for State League is an absolute joke.

So basically 240 full paying customers every home game (11 per year) would be spent on just the one player for the whole 22 match season. Do the math and it is a more than a JOKE.

What do you get for winning for competition? A measely 30k. Still wouldn't pay Hayes wages.

The State League clubs are going to kill themselves at this rate.

I hate seeing these players ROB US our clubs of our hard earned money. How much work goes into getting sponsors? Raising money etc? Only for these players to take the lions share.

The clubs should get together and say NO to these greedy players.

Add to that FNSW screws the clubs out of more money (as you mentioned the prize money)

But also FNSW should give each club an annual grant to help with wages, promotion etc

alternatively, how about they waive the competition entry fee. what is it for next year, well over $20k for PL.

There is no doubt they continually set out to screw our clubs

just on your second last point, no chance that will happen so long as theres promotion and relegation.

No matter which Sama, they are all players with terrific skills. Great signing by Olympic. Never understood why they didn't play all Sama brothers in 1st grade at Marconi.

As for Hayes: Wow, that's a lot of money. Good to see that some teams still have wealthy sponsors to pay for players like him. I wouldn't call him greedy though - wouldn't you do the same job elsewhere if another company offered you 25% more? Clearly they're overpaying but that's just what happens with blonde players

its the next stage of works- the construction of a covering over the seats. should all be completed before start of next season.

field works should be starting anyday now as well. improving drainage and relaying of turf etc.

as for signings, we signed the quick bloke who scored a heap of gaols for berries last season- forgot his name. we also signed paul kohler, akili from olympic, and that young striker from sutho- gee im bad with names today!
couple others to follow shortly.
