Let's not forget that when it comes to football, Newcastle is a bandwagoner town. The rest of the city couldn't give a shit if attractive football is being played because the average bandwagoner sees: 'Newcastle 0-1 Perth.' Then they think, 'oh, they lost. They're crap. Not going.'

Simon Hill said during the game that there was "Junior Presentation Nights" in newcastle. that may be a key factor to the crowd number.

Yes, that is true, a mate of mine couldn't go beacuse of that and he is a regular. But still, if presentation nights didn't happen, I think the crowd would've been 6 or 7k tops. That's while the team is losing.

Anyway, who schedules presentation nights on a Friday?:-s
