I doubted this guy too but after seeing a bit of him I have to say he's worth it, even if we have to get rid of brebner. He's got the ability to hold the midfield together that Brebner has, solid in defence, he's got the passing range and ability of Hernandez, very confident on the ball and he can really hit a long shot. This guy is class.

I don't think it's really all that necessary that we get a wide player, Merrick's never played with width and when he does, we sacrifice the midfield and end up resorting to long balls. During V2, we didn't use much width and when we did, it was Alessandro coming on in the second half when the opposition was tired.

I'd rather see them bring in a defender or a wide player, something we need.

I agree. As soon as brebner is back fit we will have no need for lopez. Ernie really needs to get over his obsession with broxham - hes a good young player but he shouldnt be in the side ahead of brebner imo

Ward should keep a starting place same with Broxham i think it will be Brebner who makes way for Lopez, anyone know wether he is good or not?

I'd rather have Brebner than this 'pupy' Lopez guy. Brebner is very solid in holding the midfield and IMO he will fit in well with our U'23 marquee Nick Ward, Broxham can come off the bench. And if this Lopez guy comes in then Merrick will have to put one of these three on the bench which will then demote his 'favourite boy' Broxham off the bench. I'd rather see them bring in a defender or a wide player, something we need.

so with lopez signed, that means keenan is gone as we now have filled up our quota of 4 foreign players (hernandez, lopez, ney fabiano and brebner). i say get rid of brebner and look for a good international defender.

Most players can use their head these days, I just can't see him standing up as a target striker in the A-League, not enough size.

Donno, from what I hear Muscat half calls the shots, if he dosen't like someone forget about even making the bench.

use danny as trade bate, if fabiano even plays half decent we wont need the dud.

muscat keeps us together, plus he is part of the coaching staff now also - pace needs to be gone and so to ryall, they are duds.
