I really enjoying just lounging around on FFT and Face Book and just reading, watching football or tv/movies thats how I enjoy myself. I dont drink either but its a good mates 18th in two weeks my parents said I can drink and I will try it but I dont intent to take it up after that as I also have my reasons one is no interest and the other is out of respect to a deceased family member who ahted the stuff. I dont see whats so bad about enjoying yourself by staying at home, I have a great time with my mates at school and stuff but I just feel that outside of that I like to relax and spend time with my self and if I do see friends I either go to the A league with my best mate and his brother or I go to their house to watch football,play FIFA or just watch movies and it is some of the best fun I experience without getting drunk and with semi decent sleeping patterns

She said it's ok and stuff and she thought I hated it and stuff because I was crying. I told her nah, it was just hard. She then said she thinks shes bi anyway. I said it's not really the same though and stuff. She said there were heaps of guys at school that were out. I then strated on about the whole stereotype thing and that i hate it and all the ones at school are that and I'm not like that etc. She said she didn't expect it. I knew she'd be fine with it but I haven't looked her in the eye yet. She thinks I should tell my mum but I said I will when I can. Man she could be a counsellor.

Yeah it depends what his folks are like, i'd hate SF to have to go through what my mate Morgan did when he told his folks he way gay, his mum fell short of a heart attack, and his dad didn't know wether to banish him or beat him to death with the frying pan.

Mind you they are hardcore catholics so i guess they would take it quite bad. I think they accept it, but at the same time they don't. Although he's pushing his parents limits alot by bringing his boyfriend around a lot...:s

:lol: Was hoping I'd see you post. Made me feel better about reading about all these non-alcohol drinkers. I have a few beers most nights and then on average, once a week really get on it. I respect all you non-drinkers, but I really can't imagine my life without the experiences I've had through nights of crazy alcohol related fun.

Well teenage adolescence can be a very confusing time. I don't think she said the word 'think' though, I'm pretty sure she said 'am'. She's possibly the most open-minded person I know. She wouldn't say that to cheer me up, she's not like that. I didn't need cheering up either, I was only crying because it was super-amazingly hard.

congrats on coming out and good luck with ya parents, ive got some gay friends and family members and ive seen parents handle it both ways,

On the two main issues posted about in the last few pages...
-Love to drink tbh. Being drunk is fun, and I enjoy it. I don't drink just for the sake of drinking, and getting smashed, I actually do enjoy drinking and being drunk. Fair go to those who don't though, that's your choice.

-Kudos to you S_fan, can't even begin to imagine what that would have been like. Would like to think that most of us here have helped you out over the past few months as well, since you came out to us.

Most of you have indeed helped me. There is one person however who I believe deserves a special mention. He's not on here anymore, banned actually, and I'm sure you've all guessed by now, but yeh it was the infamous afroman who actually, well inspired me to tell her.
But yeh, thanks everyone for being able to put up with my crap lol It will still be here though.
