Any interest in a minecraft thread?

It's pretty much taken over my FM12 playing time.

WTF! How did that happen? I tried once and it didnt work, I closed the page, opened it up, the original reply didn't come through so I typed that one... but then the old one came through after I'd already closed the initial page. WTF

In fact, the one that came through at 3.42... that was the one i tried to send first, didn't work so I closed the page. Weirddddd.

Oh god. I haven't played in a while, but I do love me some minecraft. Basically go through phases where I think 'hmm...that'll be fun to build'...build it, and then not play for months. It's getting to about that time. My last project was a massive TNT diamond that nearly shut down my computer and corrupted my save file. I've got the video of it that I'm going to cut together and post on youtube. Might get round to it soon.

I bought it for 10c on my phone. Its basically just the creation mode.

I don't get it.

I've never played creation mode, I don't really see the appeal other than making silly things like the pig cannon.

Survival/Hardcore is pretty good. Creepers coming out of no-where and exploding into your back is one of the most horrifying/frustrating things in gaming.

I didnt tink anyone here played. i was embarrassed about making a thread :lol:. I like to play multiplayer on the minecraft website. pretty fun.

We should set up some time to play, maybe do a Let's Play or something Yogcast style.

I'd should really buy it, i only played it once at a gaming party at about 3 in the morning, and one of my mate's has his PC and just says 'do you wanna playt minecraft' and then im just playing it half awake going 'dude... this is awesome'

So much room for activities.

Last night I made a sugarcane farm setup with redstone, pistons and a waterflow towards a catchment area.

Once a day I push the button, the pistons snap off the sugarcane (except for the bottom stick) and flow down to the catchment area for pickup.

Not bad for my first foray into redstone manipulation, if I do say so myself.

It's all very basic, although I added some Glowstone above it so that it continues to grow when it's dark. When I get home tonight I'll take some screenshots of it and post it up.

Ill post some screenshots of what ive made in the last week too.

I'm going to try something a bit more sophisticated like this, too.
