Text chat blows, I take it ventrilo & teamspeak are web hosted?

What do you gus reckon: tekkit server or just vanilla minecraft?

Vent & TS are apps, but would be server hosted (not on our server unless we pay more)

Tekkit is a plugin pack. It's pretty fucking awesome, you can build automatic quarries, machines, sorting pipes, create nukes etc.

I'm still out for dinner. Likelihood of me getting any crafting done tonight is getting less and less.

Have decided against a Tekkit server, our server doesn't have enough memory on it.

Vanilla with some bukkit plugins will suffice.

If anyone wants to play with Maxey, Ashnak and I - send me a PM. We'll ask you to chip in a couple of bucks a month for server costs and not give out the IP.

Our cavern system that we have unearthed is ridiculously large, I think we would need another 3 or 4 people just to start to make a reasonable impact into mapping it out and mining it :D

I wanted to get on last night but didn't have a chance, and today my business partner has my mac so I won't be getting it back until past bed time.

A good way to systematically tackle the abandoned shaft is to take diamond axes down there and strip out all the wood, so you're not left wondering if you'd been there before or not.

I have installed a mini map mod which gives you waypointing, so when I get to a good spot I can waypoint it with a description. Tonight I am going to start stripping the mine of everything systematically.

Enough torches on the chicken coop, guys?

I had no power last night, would have loved to help out with the nether railway.

Was good to get the track laid, you can now hop onto a mine cart and go from one end to the other - am thinking about making it a loop instead though so that the carts will just keep going round and round and you just wait for one. Not sure though how to set them up to stop then start on a regular basis other than just engage in a continuous loop.

Just make a station with redstone powered rails. There are new dispensers that will hold minecarts, so you just push a button and it drops on the tracks. You jump in and push another button and away you go.

The rail is powered already, you will need to teach me the rest of it :)
