Don't touch that with a pickaxe - it will explode.

You have to craft some goggles that you look at the puzzle with, then you put the crystals in the corresponding slots and it takes you down into a treasure room. If you try to do random crystals it will also explode.

BTW, after doing some reading last night, the server crash is a known bug and there is a fix for it. Something to do with two of the mods not lining up properly.

I might even downgrade to 3.1.2.

If you downgrade do we have to restart again? I can handle that if need be as I want to do Alchemy but our start spot is pretty sweet in the current world.

This game minecraft...it's a quiet day at work so I download it. Paid the $30 bucks (or whatever it cost) thinking cool new game right? Wrong! Some fuckin block dude that builds shit and walks around building things and God knows what else! Am I seriously missing something?

I am downgrading to 3.1.2 - 3.1.3 is just too shit all around. I should have read the tekkit forums before installing it.

We will need to start again, but we can have the same seed. It's not likely the volcanos will be in the same place, though.

New world is up, it's 3.1.2, new seed - perfectly situated between a jungle, desert and hills

It is a sandbox game, so your imagination is what drives it - also do not play in peaceful, it turns off all the mobs and surviving is half the fun.

Also play with other people is way more enjoyable than doing it on your own :)

Well being an Alchemist has been harder than I thought - basically because I stuffed up and lost about 300 diamonds worth of gear - but back on track now :D

Did you find the mineshaft on the ravine on top of the lava pool? It's epic

I haven't done any real exploring - too busy setting myself up, have reached the point I can make Dark Matter :D

Yep, have it sussed now - currently upgrading my energy flower to all dark matter units and then will move on to red matter :D You going to be on tonight? I want to see your base and stuff :)

Had a trade show Saturday & Sunday - I haven't even unpacked my car yet, I went straight to bed last night :D

I knew you would do this - Maxey and I had barely contained a cave spider spawner and you're doing red matter.

I carried on exploring down there and found like another five which I managed to contain. Was ridiculous how many there were. There were two about three blocks away from each other.

I would love to see what you guys have done, and I can show off what I have managed to do whilst home sick :)

Almost built everything that you can as an Alchemist, just got the Omega stuff to go so am currently just faffing about. Think I will start a Nether base next or come and help you guys if you want?

We've got a fairly big cave system to explore/clear of enemies/mine. Up to you guys as to what we do, I'm easy on anything.
