With regards to drinking. I love a nice cold beer on a hot day, or after a fucked week or day. Don't really care for getting smashed etc but really really enjoy a beer and the company of being at the pub with your mates etc and meeting people. That's why i drink.

It's not about doing it because America does it, it's about doing it because it's a cool holiday. Kids can dress up as freaky shit and get free candy, we can dress up as freaky shit and get horrifyingly drunk. It's win win.

Going to a dress up party this year. It's a cocktail party. Dressing up like someone out of Clockwork Orange :p

I didn't know where to post this, it doesn't Grind My gears or it wasn't the best/worst part of my day so I will put it in here.

As some of you may know I went to the Moto GP at Phillip Island this weekend. I had a great time and it was great to see Casey Stoner win here in Aus again.

I have gone to the Moto GP every year for the past 8 years and the F1 for the past 6 years. But this year at the Moto GP i witnessed something I have never seen at any of those events.

This was the security. Yes I have seen security before at other events but this year it was somthing about the security. It was appaling.

On the Friday when we first got there we brought our tickets. We then went up to the security who checked our bags. I opened the zip like a centimetre and the guy tells me to pass straight away without even looking at the contents of the bag, and he didnt even check by other bag!

At the gate there were heaps of school kids. When we got to the security guard who checks the tickets, he did not even look at the tickets and let us straight through.
We could of just walked through without tickets becuase they didn't even ask for them!

This was absolutely ridculous. Anyone could of walked in with anything and even without a ticket!

Same thing happened Saturday, and Sunday.

This is completely unnaceptable, mainly becuase we paid $300 for our tickets and we could of got in all 3 days for free!

Pretty poor form from the security

I don't think it's that great tbh. America celebrate it because it has to do with their history. If we did there'd be no point. People still do do it here in Aus but seeing as it has no connection to us, nobody celebrates it. It has nothing to do with us.

Its a stupid American tradition which does not deserve a place in our society

We may as well start celebrating Thanksgiving then I guess. If we are just looking for stupid excuses for holidays that have no impact on Australia.

What about a "Chocolate for the ladies, Beer for the men" holiday? I'm sure that would be super fun!!! Oh wait... that's Easter.

My dad used limewire unsupervised and now its fucked and wont work and keeps asking for some java update which the computer wont let us install. Has anyone else had that happen to them?

Even if I did drink I'd still want chocolate.
