used no 8. Warm up with ball each and dribble thru gates, then dribble thru gates weakest foot, progess to dribble to gate and do you own turn, players in pairs then have to pass thru gates preferred foor then weaker foot. Move into game with 2 teams whereby you either have to dribble thru gates to score, progess to game to pass thru gates to score. remove all bar 4 gates and have a directional games scoring into either gate , finally directional game 1 goal at each end

How effective as a training ground exercise do you think it was, Dirk?

very good, the best coaches i have observed always do the simplest exercises but get maximum effect.

do any of you guys have any literature on drills, training duration and regime for 11 year olds???

I used to coach 15 years ago and had the old level 3 ticket but have let it slip while supporting my son, i cant find my coaching info since we moved house, and was hoping for more up to date info....anyone?????

the general rule i use is a session should be as long as a game plus 10 min
