Watched APIA v Olympic yesterday at Lambert and it finished 1 all.

I am sure even the most staunch Olympic fan will agree that APIA were clearly the dominant side, and should have won.

Good solid hit out for both squads.

Based on what I saw, Olympic miss both Smith and Mileski terribly, and they won't go back to back.

APIA a mid table team.

The thing is with trials is they are exactly that. Players playing out of position, trialists trying to impress etc.

So you can't really judge what the season is going to be like by trial results.

Blacktown City beat Sydney United last weekend 3-0 but both sides still with plenty of trialists and players out of position and regular first graders having a break to let the trialists have dig. Come comp time trial results count for nothing.

In a nutshell you can take trials with a grain of salt. The dust settles and the real business starts in around 11 days.
