Itll be interesting to see Podolski playing at Everton but didnt he sign a new contract with Bayern ? The only players I hope liverpool get in the summer are Aaron Lennon and the young Franco Zuculini.

Lennon I can't see at Liverpool for many reasons. It would be a good excuse to offload Pennant though. We have enough youngsters we don't really need Franco Zuccolini too.

I look at Yohann Gourcuff and see Kieran Richardson. You always see flashes of his potential, and he's always meant to be the next big thing, but he never really achieves what he could have. Milan would have to give us financial compensation AND Gourcuff to even come close to getting Agger.

I have doubts over Gourcuff. Why would Milan loan him out if he was supposed to be THAT good? I dont want to lose Agger but is Gourcuff worth a chance? Chygrynskiy wants to come to Liverpool and we do have Skrtel to come back. I think we should get Chygrynskiy then sort out Agger and Gourcuff. Agger for Gourcuff + Chygrynskiy's fee would be considerable.

I reckon Gourcouff would be great Milan loaned him because they didnt use him and he was just wasting away over there. In France he is a brilliant player utside of France he needs to prove himself. I would rather Hamsik at United then Ronaldinho afro

Chygrynskyi would cost in excess of 10mil possibly. He's a quality young player and considered to be the next big thing at Shakhtar by many. Agger is a tops defender, he's scored several goals with his boot from range too, so Kudos to him for that...are we that desperate for an AM taht we'd sell him for Gourcuff and Chygrynskyi when we could just go out to buy someone like Ben Arfa or Hamsik?

Hamsik would be hard to get, very hard. Juve were rumpured to have a bid of 20 mil knocked back and Napoli are clinging very tight to him. Besides Liverpool would definately think twice about spending 20 mil again

That was 20mil euros. I think we can afford to go a little higher. But the options are serverely inhibitive given the rapid inflation in the transfer market.

ronaldinho is passed, i wouldnt want him at the club at all. I think Hamsik would be a good signing, but if the Tosic rumours are true, then im quite happy there too. Id want Schweinsteger at the club thought the most.

No Tosic is confirmed he has been granted a work permit and is joining us in Jan. I dont reckon Schweinsteger would fit here but he is a great player

Ummm... First up, Bordeaux have first option to buy him at the end of the season, which they have said they're looking to do, if he keep's up his current form.

I actually red on "The Sun" Yesterday that the Tosic deal isnt done yet and that after getting a work permit Tosic in fact knocked back the deal as he wasnt offered enough $$$... but he said that he expects it all to be sorted out soon. So he might still sign just wants a better wage...

Sound's like another Ronaldo situation, to be perfectly honest.

Fred has brought up a point that i have brought up before, we don't really need him. Giggs is currently playing CM because he is being outdone by Nani,Park, Ronaldo. So unless they play Tosic somewhere else i don't really see the point. And i'm really looking forward to the combo of Anderson/Possebon in years to come. Sorry this should be on the United thread but Fred did you here the rumour that Anderson wants to play for Mourinho at Inter?

I think Tosic will eventually arrive, but i think by buying Tosic he has sacrificed one of his other wingers, i think the victim of this will be Lee Martin, Nani, or Park who may leave for more game time. only maybe though, all are rated very highly by Sir Alex.
