Member: None. Support: APIA Leichhardt. They're my most local team, and Lambert Park is a brilliant little ground. In saying that, I'm willing to lend my support during the A-League off-season, to the NSW Premier League club who does the best Cevapi. ;) Thus far I've only tasted Bankstowns, and I was hooked. I also have a large soft spot for Manly United. They're not ethnically aligned, and always seem to impress, especially in the second half of the season. That and the North Shore/Northern Beaches is kinda my second home. More clubs than a golf bag and what has 'ethnically aligned' got anything to do with it

Member of South Melbourne, but also have a lot of friends at Northcote thanks to the groundshare last season. Would love to see them finish 1st and 2nd, but the odds are long!

=d> Bonnyrigg White Eagles supporter, member ($20.00) and season ticket holder ($120.00). Did not have to get the season pass, can get in without paying.
At first I did not think much about this thread but now I’m glad it is up there as it exposes what is wrong with some football supporters.
*To help your club get membership and season pass. *If your son plays for another club it is OK to support both clubs by becoming a member of both clubs. *If your son does not play anymore support your club and someone else’s son, as someone else supported your son through the club when your son played. *I enjoy going to my clubs fundraising nights and have some memorabilia purchased well overprized but good fun, at Bonno all you can eat (good Chevapis) and drinks (all beers and spirits) very good value for money. *Introduce someone new to the game as a player, supporter, coach or a referee.
So to all football fans out there support your football club and lets make this sport No1 in this country.
See you at the game

I got my membership and the season pass (1st sentence) (2nd sentence should say) regardless that I do not have to pay to get in. My post criticises people that rip benefits out of the game one way or another and do not give anything back.

Supported blacktown city last season and went to half a dozen games. Will cross over to spartans now since I moved and their ground is just down the road. + brand spanking new facilities. Hopefully they will stay up this season.

Member no, Suporter, Not really, Follow Blacktown City. I've attended their matches on and off over the last 15 years or so. I used to see a Bird who live just behind the Stadium so we'd nick over their to watch a game if her folks were home and we had nothing else to do; i then kept up with them over the years as it turned out my Step dad was a supporter of them during the 80's.
Since the inception of the A-League Newy have used BC as a great recruiting ground, if you look over the squad lists of the past 7 years Blacktown Players have featured regularly including Ozbay, Sean Rooney, Ivan Nevcheski, Milligan, Brodie Mooy and I'm sure more than I can remember. GVE is also a former Demon.

Spartans and City have never liked each other, not since we burnt down their Mall. Spartans said they'd get revenge by spiking our drinking water but they never had the guts..........

i was thinking about this the other day. if the spartans dont get relegated and start to build on their squad that could really be the end for blacktown city. the spartans are backed by the bdsfa (if im not mistaken) while city is backed by lily holmes. now doesnt FNSW want clubs that represent areas (look at melita now). its not like city have a solid support, so if spartans can match or better this then city will be in some major trouble. i hope not but it could be a large possibility

Camera steped in to rescue City from liquidation because he beleives Blacktown need City. He's not likely to pack it in after rebuilding and branding just because The Spartan's are now in a position to become the dominant team in Blacktown. After all City had Sir Bobby Charlton Play for them!!!! Too Much History to let them fade into the ether

Up until now I haven't supported a state league team but since I'm in Mackay and the new season is about to get underway I'm going to get along and support the Whitsunday Miners in their newly done up stadium. Not sure what to expect but I'm going to get behind them. Shame I have to wait until the end of March for their first home game though...
