Why would we need to sign a keeper for £12m when we can hardly afford to buy players. And on top of that why would we need a new keeper? Petr Cech is to good to be replaced so there is no use signing a £12m keeper.

Thats really weak. Have even seen Foster play?. His as solid as a rock, his positioning is good, his reflexes are good, his got great sight, and he reads the game oh so well. Kuszczak is solid with his positioning, however i have thought in recent times that his ball-handling can be shaky. Out of all things i think were good for keepers but if we must buy then i insist Sergio Asenjo.

United never splash the cash for a keeper but I agree with mk I am not convinced by Foster, Kuzchak is a good back up keeper but thats all he is. I'd like Nuere but he would cost a fortune and Ive got a mate in Germany who is a Schalke fan and he says Nuere is adored by every fan of Schalke and he reckons Nuere would only leave in search of trophies, he compares it to a Giggs type situation but alot younger in his career obviously

Neuer, Kameni, Akinfeev are all looking to move to bigger clubs. Stecklenburg could be on the way out of Ajax too. I haven't been really excited by any young keepers this season though.
