Yes Chelsea is playing crap at the moment. But hopefully Scolari will get some brains and look over the formations that won us the EPL 3 years ago. And play a 451 with it becoming a 433 in attack. Quersma and Joe Cole attaking the flanks could be deadly

Quaresma is on loan 'til the end of the season and Cole is out for the rest of the season so there wont be no wide partnership between those two.

Worst: Heskey/Quaresma

Heskey and Quaresma worst? Heskey was only 3.5 million and Quaresma is only on loan, they'd have to be fairly monumental failures.

For me;

Best- Cudicini
Worst- Bridge (already cost Man Citeh about 3 goals)

Heskey and Quaresma are the worst IMO because they are just very shit players and will show their lack of quality as the season progresses.
Cudicini was a steal.
Too much was paid for Bridge.

You also forgot that Heskey scored on debut.

Best would have to be Cudicini. Or Defoe perhaps.

Worst would be between Bridge, Keane and Nolan.

I don't think you could say Keane was the worst, purely for the fact we apparently made an 8million pound profit on him. He is a Spurs level player who I think can do very well for us (again). I was going to suggest Defoe as best signing too, but then I remembered he's out for 10 weeks and couldn't bring myself to mention him :cry:

IMO there have been a few good signings.
Hesky i think will do well. Cudinci was a steal. Hope he does well. And Defoe as well. And Lassana Diara if you count him as a signing. Bullard could turn out to be a great player for Hull. Or injureys can make him a disasterous buy.
Worst i would have to say bridge as well. Arshavin i think will be a bust in England. I dont think he has the build for the EPL. I would have liked to seen him in a Barcelona team. He could be deadly there. But no game time.

I think anyone going to Barca right now would be a bad idea. They'll win the Champions League and La Liga easily if they can just keep the same balance, any player coming in to chllenge for a staqrting place ahead of Iniesta/Messi et all would be unnecessary.

I've been a fan for a while, and, just because he play's for Liverpool, doesn't mean I can't still enjoy watching the lad.

Liverpool bought Keane for £20.3m (which was inclusive of add-ons they will not have had to pay - so the figure was nearer £18m), yet have sold him for £12m (with add-ons to follow, including a substantial fee for Premiership survival, taking the fee to £15.5m) - so instead of portraying the actual loss on the player more than likely being around £2.5m, the press are reporting of it being an £8m loss, which is wide of the mark.
