I dont think AU could afford that. I dont think Garcia is worth that to an A-League club. I think Garcia has much more to give in europe.

Yeah because when Hull are looking for someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck he is the first person they call on. Real Madrid and Barca must be knocking down the door..... ](*,)

They're meant to have about five times that sitting there courtesy of the club world cup and ACL. You'd think they'd try and put it to good use and find a fucking useful marquee player for a change...

Imagine Robin Van Persie's complexion if Djourou hadn't been there...And those crows feet on Arsene's face would be at least an inch deeper...I see what you're saying.

Should have gotten him last year when he was shit for Barca. I think he'd fit into the EPL very well. Just dont think he'd fit in at Liverpool. Chelsea or Arsenal maybe.

We've been linked to Eto'o for the last four years now... I can't see him doing well in the EPL either tbh, for 18mil you get a guy who struggles with the 'physicality' of La Liga, let alone the EPL.

But I won't judge him on that, in term's of his Footballing talent, which is obviously the most important thing, I rate him highly. He's one of the most clinical and lethal striker's in the World. An absolute talent. mk0825 wrote:Should have gotten him last year when he was shit for Barca. I think he'd fit into the EPL very well. Just dont think he'd fit in at Liverpool. Chelsea or Arsenal maybe. Actually, I agree with that, both club's would get a lethal striker who'd score them twenty plus goal's, the service he'd get from both mid-field's he'd have a field day.

Quote:Barcelona president Joan Laporta has insisted that Argentine forward Lionel Messi is not for sale at any price. Apparently he has a release clause in his contract at around 60mil GBP. I love the way there's incessant talk about Ribery's future but there's no clubs actually talking about signing him.

All I can see Milito doing at liverpool is being another Dirk Kuyt. Quote:Barcelona keep the figure rising every year or so, but last time I had a check, it was more than that? How can a release clause keep rising each year?? That defeats the purpose of a release clause.

Liverpool will try again to sign Aston Villa's Gareth Barry, and are hoping to seal an £8m deal for the midfielder this summer
Manchester City are setting their sights high, with Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery, Barcelona striker Thierry Henry, Chelsea skipper John Terry and Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz all transfer targets
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has cast doubt on his future with the Gunners by refusing to rule out a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid
Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart expects to join Chelsea this summer. "I hope the signing will be closed soon," said the Dutchman
Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o is on Rafael Benitez's transfer target list at Liverpool also Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is preparing an £18m bid for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o
Eto'o and Torres upfront would work well IMO however he is greedy like Robinho and I wouldnt want distractions. So we should go for David Villa, any price will be good for Valencia, plus Torres and Villa know each other like the back of their hand...

Jim get over David Villa, he will cost a fortune and Madrid or Barca are waiting for him and second, Villa and Torres never worked before Euro 08 and Villa will overshadow Torres more than Eto'o would ala Euro 08.
