This rumour is all over the english newspapers, will Tevez work well at Liverpool ? I still think our main priority is a winger followed by another striker ie. silva, villa

Tevez was always supposed to go to Liverpool. Join up with Masch. I think he would almost complete us. This first entered my mind a few days ago also. Lets hope.

Yeah, I think I said something about it a few days ago. At least we're on the same page with that:lol: I'd love to see him at anfield, Masch and Tevez play so well together and know eachother's game Put them together with Torres and Gerrard and we're looking damn good. There's only two problems, one of which is that Tevez coming so deep could see Gerrard shifted to the right wing, and the other being, how do we get together the necessary 22mil that's being touted as his fee? And don't we need a brilliant right winger too? Quote:Who exactly pays out on your bet? If he lost, would he owe himself $50?

Afro, if the price is only 22 mil now I reckon we will definately sign him, Tevez first choice would be to stay at United but if it looks like he wont play regularly I think he might look else whare. I highly doubt it would be to Liverpool, he is a United fan and he reaaly does love the club, it would be simmilar to Torres joining United. Fergie is coming out in the press now saying that Tevez is his number one target and that he is such a valuable member of the squad etc. It is also interesting to note that whilst he might not have as many starts and appearances he has actualy played more minutes than any of our other forwards

Will hte Untied board really be willing to fork over 22mil for a bench player? He says now that he wants to leave, he has played with all the passion for the shirt that you'd expect of Mario Jardel in the last couple of games and I really think the best thing for both him an United is for him to leave and for Macheda to step into a more pivotal role in the side. The thing is, Torres nearly DID join united. They approached Atletico a matter of hours before Torres got on the plane to anfield. The only reason Fergie is saying what he's saying is because it would be easier for him to keep Tevez and bench him than have to go shopping for a replacement. Quote:It is also interesting to note that whilst he might not have as many starts and appearances he has actualy played more minutes than any of our other forwards :lol:This one deserved its own special quote... Berbatov: 25 (2) games, 2208 mins. av: 81.7 mins. 8 goals, so a goal every 276 mins. Rooney: 21 (4) games, 1893 mins. av: 75.2 mins. 10 goals, a goal every 189.3 mins. Tevez: 16 (8) games, 1607 mins. av: 66.95 mins. 3 goals, a goal every 535 mins. The only guys who have played less are Macheda and Welbeck, 48 and 34mins respectively. With goals every 24 and 34 mins. Just a little out with that claim, Fred.

They should be able to get more than that now tbh. He's worth cicra 20mil. Dont need Downing. He hasnt scored a goal all season. Hes worth more than 7.5m but I wouldnt be prepared to pay any more than that considering he almost HAS to go. And we dont really need him anymore anyway.
I dont get why you'd want to sell Anelka. Fuck it. Ill have him! Again..

afromanGT wrote:Just a little out with that claim, Fred. Well I just grabbed that claim from an article where SAF said it so..... Tevez hasnt actualy said he wants to go what many people dont realize is the claims that have sparked this recent debate is only a rumour, it is rumoured he said them there hasnt yet been any proof (that Im aware of) when the earlier articles came out during the week they all said it was rumoured he made those comments to an Argentine radio program and he didnt say he wanted to leave he said he would love to stay but if he feels he wont be guarenteed game time he will go in search else where saying that he had offers from not just Spain. I think United will easuily cough up the dosh for him as before the season started Gill and Fergie said that signing Tevez was their main perrogative and the price was higher then

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

If SAF was wrong youd have more chance of him coneding it then you would, some of the bullshit you spin to get yourself out of situations here is incredible. In all competitions Tevez has only actualy made one less appearance than Rooney and I would take the word of the coach, the one who actualy does the tactics, the one who would know how much gametime his players have had rather than yor word/wikipedia or whatever source you used. EDIT The anger I have felt at you has been relieved somewhat with the discovery of your location being on the back of a flying turtle as I myself am a big fan of flying turtles Edited by fredsta: 26/4/2009 12:08:24 PM

Quote:In all competitions Tevez has only actualy made one less appearance than Rooney Tevez: 24 league, 9 cup, 7 ECL. Total; 40. Rooney: 25 league, 3 cup, 10 ECL. Total; 38. So actually, Tevez has played in two MORE games. But in the league, despite only playing in one less game he has played almost 300mins less than Rooney. Quote:I would take the word of the coach, the one who actualy does the tactics, the one who would know how much gametime his players have had rather than yor word/wikipedia or whatever source you used. Source. Ignore the fact that it says "liverpool" there, all data is from "the touchline", which is a paid subscription statistics service, so heads would roll if they were wrong. And do you seriously believe that SAF walks into a press conference with all those state pre-prepared on a piece of paper infront of him?

dont be ridiculous fergie. weve got a perfect forward line and by doing this you pushing away one of the best players in the world. we need to invest in our defence, our attack is as good as it gets.

Benzema would be an absolute star but Tevez is way preferable, such passion, energy and class dont come by each day, having said that if Tevez left i would be more than happy for Benzema to join the club
