He'd fit right in too.

Wolfsburg have a pretty sweet forward line up but without Felix I cant see them repeating last seasons heroics and winning the title again.

Wenger has refused to rule out a move for former captain Vieira

Lyon have clinched the signing of French striker Bafetimbi Gomis from rivals St Ettiene. The deal takes their total expenditures to 70million pounds

Manchester City could be set to land defender Joleon Lescott from Everton with the Goodison Park club lining up a move for Arsenal's Philippe Senderos.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has been linked with a move for Valencia ace David Villa with the funds generated by Xabi Alonso's expected move to Real Madrid.
AC Milan ace Andrea Pirlo is reported to be ready to hand in a transfer request as he looks to secure a summer move to Chelsea.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson could be planning a swoop for young Turkish striker Sercan Yildirm.

Wolfsburg are Bundesliga chapions and are on the rise. If they get him they will have a great frontline of Dzeko/Grafite/Martins.

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I'd be stunned if we chased any more Spurs players after the way the negotiations have gone over Bent.

With regard to those negotiations, my understanding is that we've offered £10m + £4m in add ons if things go well, whilst Spurs want £15m in cash. Big gap between the clubs and Bruce is considering taking his ball home.

What went wrong with Bentley at Spurs? Is it simply that he's not as good as Lennon, or is there something deeper?

Not 100% there,Benjamin...Imo,combination of attitude, ego and application, although to be fair why spend so much on a player who wants to be the new Beckham, and play him as a reserve? I'm interested to see what Levy wants for Bentley, personally I think he's worth more than Bent, but I bet Levy won't play the same way..

Chelsea's spending spree will be interesting IF they can land those three. Might give United a big shake for the title.

Lescott wants to go to City and Everton are better off letting him go. Having a player in your defence who doesn't want to be there is not good in the short or long term.

If Cole is worth 10 million quid then Bent must be worth only 4 million!! I would rather have Cole in my side any day.

I worry about Hull City I really do. They need at least 2 defenders and 2 attacking players and they have accomplished sod all in this transfer window.

They cunningly managed to collapse the signing of Daryl Murphy after agreeing a fee - that's a bonus for any Premiership side.

I'm just waiting for Phil Brown to notice that their form went to crap last season after Paul McShane returned to Sunderland from his loan spell. Come on, Phil, offer us a million and he's yours.
