Why would you play a central midfielder on the right and a left winger in the hole? Enrique won't be staying.

You apparently didnt see Barton play RM last season. His crossing was ridiculous. Sure hes not to fast but his delivery + vision is second to none. Ade+Ba in box + Barton = :D.

As for Nzogbia he seemed to be very adaptable as an attacking Mid and was played their several times for Wigan to deadly effect.

Enrique is gone (seems obvious now). Give us Clichy even though hes hopeless at defending (shudder).

Very sad to see him go. Almost nothing got past enrique and his passing from LB into mid and LW is ridic. hes a fantastic all round LB. Hes either going to Liverpool or AC milan.

This. Newcastle fans regard Barton and Carrol's old wages to be ridiculous, they're not going to be happy with the obscene fees that Ade and Clichy want.

Ok so Arsenal rejected a big of 5m for Clichy from Liverpool and considered it derisory. What makes you think we'd accept the same bid from Newcastle :lol:

As for Adebayor, it's all well and good affording him, but why would he want to go to Newcastle. He thinks way way to highly of himself to go anywhere but a Champions League club.

Good then he can stay on the bench then and not play. If we can afford owen on 120k a week we can afford Ade on the same amount.

He said so many shitty things about Manchini when he was at Real. There is Zero chance he will get any game time at Man City.

Owen came to the club before Ashley's tight-arse policies came along. 100% Guaranteed they won't want to be paying another player such an "obscene" wage. Especailly when Newcastle fans were up in arms over what Owen, Barton and Carroll were earning. Not to mention the fact that Adebayor probably doesn't even WANT to play for Newcastle.
