There were half a dozen clubs competing in Europe that were ready to swoop ahead of Newcastle regardless.

1. Enrique is a minimum 12 million pounds as has been stated by the clulub
2. We will not be signing Clichy we will sign Neil Taylor and Cheik Mbengue.
3. The Carroll money is already being really invested we already signed Cabaye and Abied.
4. Cabaye will be starting for us.
5. Why post a formation we probably wont play
6. Barton is a solid right winger.
7. Nolan is our captain and just came off thebest year of his career he will be starting.
Expect a line up like:
Gk Krull/Foster Lb Enrique/Mbengue CB Collo CB Williamson /Saylor RB Simpson DM Tiote LM Insomnia (Nzogs) RM Barton CM/hole Nolan CF New Signing
SB Foster/Krull SB N Taylor SB Saylor/Williamson SB Ba SB Ameobi SB Sammy Ameobi/Ferguson/Vuckic SB Abeid

Sagna has come out and said Fabregas wants to go to Barca. I know that is stating the obvious and before SydCro says it is going to take minimum 40million to sign him, I think pressure will grow on Wenger. It is not unusual for an Arsenal to player to start sulking, so it could be best if they parted ways before things get ugly.
I would not be suprised at all if Arsenal drop the price now or a player makes his way to Arsenal in part of a deal.

I have no idea, I am sure any player would fit in nicely though.
I just can't see him staying at Arsenal much longer, 1 year max! United did this with Ronaldo and when a player has his heart set, there isn't much you can do. I know United had 80million reasons to sell him but it is the same thing really, we would have sold him anyway.

Valencia have signed Dani Parejo for €5 mill from Getafe with Miguel Angel Moya going the other way on a season long loan as part of the deal. Elliott Bennett has finally completed a long awaited move from Brighton to Norwich. I suppose the signing of Buckley from Watford really paved the way for Bennett to leave. Sad to see him go, have a lot of admiration for him after he could have gone in January but stayed to help the club win league one. Wish him all the best at Norwich.

Bojan looks like the type of player Arsenal would like. Can't see him being great in the EPL but seems to be the most likely player in the event of a swap deal.

There won't be any swap deal unless it's for someone like Mascherano. It'll be 40m minimum or nothing. The biggest problem with all this is that Barca can't afford him. It doesn't matter how much Fabregas wants to go we will not be accepting a lower price just because he wants to leave. If Barca want him so bad they will have to stump up the cash or fuck off. Any swap deal is only because Barca can't afford him. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 15/6/2011 11:09:12 AM

Well if it doesn't matter what the fans think then why would Wenger be put under pressure, because the only way that would happen is if the vast majority of fans start speaking out against Fabregas and ask for him to be sold no matter the price. That won't happen, so I really don't see where the pressure for Wenger in regards to Fabregas is going to come from.

Arsenal would definitely take 25mil + a few players that are in and around their squad, like Bojan and Maxwell or something. I think so anyway. You don't need it all in cash if you are getting players you need/want.

Like I said I think we'd only accept something like 30m + Mascherano or someone. The other thing is, the positions that we need players in Barca wouldn't/ don't have any to offer. In the end straight cash is the best deal for us. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 15/6/2011 01:23:25 PM

No, because if there was any kind of excessive pressure Wenger wouldn't be coming out and flat out saying no to Barca, and if Cesc couldn't handle being in London anymore and wanted to get out so badly he could just as easily hand in a transfer request which he hasn't done. The other thing he has to realise, and I think he does, that Arsenal have to do what's best for the club as well which is either, keeping Cesc, or getting the right amount of money. In the end the best thing for the club is to keep him, and at the moment that isn't going to change.

Gyan as good as gone from Sunderland. Next time Saggy Chops gets himself on SSN Gyan will be referred to using the 'triffic little player, not ours so I can't comment, but he's triffc' speech, and he'll be in a Spurs shirt within the fortnight.

Craig Mackail-Smith set to hold talks with 3 clubs in the coming days. I don't know which clubs but you can see one of the newly promoted teams in to the EPL looking for a goal scorer.

Newcastle apparently pondering a 6m bid for Scott Brown
Have our Newcastle boys heard anything about this? I'd be happy with 6m for Broony, would free up some space in the midfield for Ki and Kayal.
