I'd take Kuyt, Henderson, Maxi AND Aurelio ahead of Jonas.

Go to Bolton, or France. In Jonas' case, probably back to Argentina if you don't want him. Certainly hasn't shown enough since his first season in the league to show he's of much use. Champo form doesn't count.

Not even going to bother with you two just enjoy the reactions when you are proven wrong.

The whole world disagrees with you, you must be right Guest. I mean, you know you're clutching at straws when goal.com is your source.
The simple fact of the matter is, he's not good enough for a side with European aspirations. Nothing more to it.
I mean, your whole contention revolves around the sale of a player who hasn't even left the club and the notion that Kenny Dalglish doesn't have any more ambition than to sign a mediocre player from a mid-table club.
But you're right, we're wrong and have no idea what you're talking about.

Just putting it out there, I think Jonas is a good player
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Would you like to point out where I said that Jonas was a world class winger? All you are doing is making up bullshit in an attempt to start a fight. Jonas is a good winger and his Argentine caps and EPL contract show as much. Edited by guest: 16/6/2011 08:11:19 PM

Saying we're after Jonas and saying he'd be good enough is trolling of the highest order. ;)

Samuel Eto'o has apparently said he'd be open to a move to England. I know it won't happen but Wenger has tried to sign him twice before, how about 3rd time lucky

Guest wrote:All you are doing is making up bullshit in an attempt to start a fight. Admit nothing, deny everything, make counter accusations  Change the subject, because you know you're losing the argument. I mean, making accusations of being misquoted and all that drivel, but if you could find where I said Jonas was shit? No, I didn't. I said he wasn't good enough for Liverpool and that we wouldn't be signing him. In a transfer window where we're being linked with players like Honda, Gago, Mata, Matuidi, Marin, et al, the notion that we would move for Jonas is laughable. Now get the fuck over yourself and stop accusing me of starting arguments when you're the one coming in here labelling people a "Joke" just because they don't rate a player. Seriously, build a fucking bridge dude. You know why Jonas has caps for Argentina? Becuase they have NO options at LB.

I think we need to sign another striker, just at this point in time one not going to the ACN  That being said though if we had the chance to sign Eto'o I'd take it in a second.

Monzon, Zabaleta, Burdisso, Zanetti and Rojo not enough options? Quote:As for Jonas...why the fuck would we sign him? All he can do is run in straight lines. Dalglish is in charge now, remember? Seem to be calling him shit there saying he can only run in straight lines. Still waiting to see what transfer rumor I posted from goal.com though Josh. If you would also like to point out where in the last few pages here I called you a joke would be helpful. Edited by guest: 16/6/2011 08:44:01 PM

He never said it was a transfer rumour. You used goal.com as a source to back up your claim that Jonas isn't rubbish, even though that "article" was the biggest piece of shit I've seen in a ling time.

In other news Gervinho has reportedly agreed a 4 year deal with Arsenal and the club hope to announce the deal before the weekend.

 Guest, just shut up. Don't you get tired of being wrong? Burdisso, Zanetti and Zabaleta are RIGHT backs, Rojo didn't debut for Argentina until THIS YEAR and Monzon isn't even first choice at Boca half the time, let alone for Argentina. Quote:Seem to be calling him shit there saying he can only run in straight lines. Yeah, you can tell by where I used the word 'shit', right th-...oh, wait! I did however say he "isn't good enough for a club with European aspirations". Guest wrote:Still waiting to see what transfer rumor I posted from goal.com though Josh. Again, if you could point out where I said you sourced a transfer rumour from goal.com, that would be great. But again, wait... I didn't. You did however, use an article from goal.com to claim how 'good' Jonas is. Right. The funniest bit is, the article references a news piece that the Daily Star never actually published. Quote:This, although with Chamakh and Gervinho(if we sign him) off to the ACN in January signing Eto'o who would also be off, Cameroon are third behind Congo and Senegal and still have to travel to Congo...don't count on Eto'o being there just yet.

Afro every player I list has or can play Left back and has at least 1 cap for Argentina they do not have a shortage of Left backs. An article from goal.com is still an article it can be found by a quick google but of course you just like denying this. I can also link you to an article where Diego Maradona states that his WC team was "Mascherano, Messi, Jonás and eight more." Edited by guest: 16/6/2011 09:07:53 PM

Not denying he's a decent player, just not worth listening to his international teammate say he's one of the best players in the league when he is so clearly not.

Just saying, I thought Gutierrez played at right back for Argentina. And also, tbf Zanetti can play on both sides really.

Quote:Afro every player I list has or can play Left back and has at least 1 cap for Argentina they do not have a shortage of Left backs. And I gave you very clear reasons why they're NOT playing at LB for Argentina. Mostly that three of them were right-footed and play at RB. What is wrong with you? There's a reason Jonas isn't in their Copa America squad and has not been capped since August. Quote:Just saying, I thought Gutierrez played at right back for Argentina. And also, tbf Zanetti can play on both sides really. They line up with either Burdisso/Zanetti at RB and Heinze at LB normally. Though looking at their copa america squad they're going to play 3-4-3.

Have you managed to watch any of his games? The only thing he is useful for is dribbling passed 1 defender and then passes side ways. Thats all he fucking does, then when he finally gets into a good crossing position he fails 90% of the time. He gets 1 good cross in for every 10 attempts. and he gets 1 goal in for every 100 attempts. Hes hopeless and not even that quick. Arfa shits on him 100 times over. Will gladly offload to Luton town. Liverpool wanting Jonas is absolute shit also, they will never want him. Edited by seriously: 16/6/2011 10:55:08 PM
