And if any other club had moved for Jones, Fergie would have done exactly the same thing regardless of which club it was. Fergie didn't have any plans to move for Jones this summer but was forced to when it looked like he would move to another club. Sure he paid way more than Jones is worth but that's all I see that's a bit off with the transfer.

So apparently Liverpool haven't made any approach for Juan Mata, but other English clubs in the Champions League have. Can only assume one would be City and no idea on the other.

Barcelona will apparently go for both Juan Mata and Giuseppe Rossi if they miss out on Alexis Sanchez.

Approx 43 Million.
Sell:
Carroll = 36 Million + Enrique 10 mill + Nolan 4 mill = 50 mill
:D assuming we get all of them
THANK YOU!! MR JUDAS ANDY CARROLL. We just rebuilt our whole squad thanks to your trechery (in theory at least) I love the idea of N'Zogbia, Ba, Marveux, Taylor, Matuidi, Cabaye, Erding and Mbenge having an average wage of less than 17k/week. Priceless humour there.

Malaga sign Joaquin for 22mil. They've now signed:
Diego Buonanotte, Martin Demichelis, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Nacho Monreal, Jérémy Toulalan and Joris Mathijsen and Joaquin.
Crazy stuff. New billionaire owners flashing the cash.

Priceless humour there. You Obviously didnt understand my meaning. I meant we have 7 million spare for wages. Not 7 million to split among wages. Someone is a bit jealous 5under1and have a crappy squad lol. 5-1 enjoy. :D. Maybe with our new squad your aim would be to keep it within 10 ;) Edited by seriously: 25/6/2011 01:15:12 PM

Crazy stuff. New billionaire owners flashing the cash. That's a hefty fee for Joaquin. I mean, he's good, but he's 29 now... They've had a big summer, but they're mostly signing guys who have had their day (Joaquin, Toulalan, Demichelis and RVN especially)...they should push for europe though.

Sunderland look set to sign Craig Gardner. He was, but that was when Evra hadn't signed a new deal with them yet, not sure why he'd be bringing it up now.

Stephen El Shaarawy has completed his highly-anticipated transfer from Genoa to AC Milan. Meanwhile Alexander Merkel has made his move to Genoa permanent after failing to cement a place in Massimiliano Allegri's future plans.
*Both co-ownership deals.

Adam would be a waste of money. I'm worried that we're putting TOO MUCH emphasis on HG players.

He wouldn't be a waste... at 8mil he is good value, still young, and a lot of good tools in his bag. Not a starter, but definitely adds something to our midfield.

When you've already got a midfield with Gerrard, Meireles, and Lucas in it, Aquilani and Spearing provide adequate depth. I think Adam is a waste of money when we need a left winger and a striker and don't have depth there at all. I don't see why we need Adam. Quote:Sky Italia reporting that Juve have agreed terms with Sergio Aguero, but apparently not with Atletico yet. I'll be disappointed if Aguero leaves Atletico. But it's probably time for him to move on to a side that has legitimate title ambitions instead of a club who's going to be mid-table for the next six or seven years of his career.
