Is Hulk to Chelsea official yet?
In the Argentina Brazil game the commentators kept banging on about him having already signed.

Quote:Thiago Silva deal done - report Sportmediaset are reporting that Milan defender Thiago Silva has agreed to join French outfit Paris Saint-Germain for €50m.
Reports this morning suggested that the player was in Paris today to negotiate a high-cost transfer to the Ligue 1 club, whilst both the his agent and PSG’s sporting director Leonardo added fuel to such rumours with their comments.
SportMediaset are now reporting that a deal between the club and Silva has been agreed, with the Brazilian allegedly set to be handed a €9m-a-season contract in the French capital, doubling his current San Siro salary.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are set to receive a €50m fee to hand over his registration to the Parisians, which would be five times the amount the Italians paid Fluminense for him in 2007.
It is understood that the player has already texted teammates at Milan to inform them of his departure and to say goodbye. The 27-year-old will have a medical on Tuesday before completing the transfer. http://football-italia.net/19850/thiago-silva-deal-done-reportFuckin crazy if true.

That's a huge signing. Curious as to why he chose France though; I thought there were a few bigger clubs after him too?
Nice return for Milan also.

Surely they cant compete in UCL if they sign both of these players for those sums of money under the FFP rules.

PSG are building a team to win League 1 and challenge in the CL, with all the players they are getting they will be tough to beat, they have some great midfielders, need a great striker and defenders, which they have the money to do. It all comes down to money. Napoli dont have anywhere near as much money and also its a lot tougher for them to make the CL as there are only 3 positions, they didnt this season, its hard to see them winning serie a too.

With the likes of Sakho, Alex and Lugano on the books did they really need to splash out so much for Silva? They have an incredible midfield and defence, just lacking a potent finisher up front though.

Ramires in shock Chelsea quit threat: Brazil midfielder open to Cruzeiro return By SPORTSMAIL REPORTER PUBLISHED: 08:32 GMT, 10 June 2012 | UPDATED: 10:16 GMT, 10 June 2012 Comments (45) Share Just weeks after celebrating with his Chelsea team-mates as the club became European champions, midfielder Ramires has revealed he wants to return to former club Cruzeiro. The Brazil international joined the Stamford Bridge club for £17million in August 2010 and played an integral part in their historic domestic and European double last term. But instead of looking forward to his long term future in west London Ramires has vowed he wants to return to his former club one day. Ram raid: the Blues midfielder could be heading for the exit Ramires, 25, said: 'If Cruzeiro are interested, it’s possible for me to go back. 'Although it’s not a decision I can make and difficult because my price is very high. If Cruzeiro could raise the money, I would go back for sure. 'I was happy at Cruzeiro and felt an obligation to return at some point as the club offered me a chance to launch my sport career in Europe. 'I still follow their matches on the internet. The fans were always good to me and named me "Ramires the Warrior". 'I still keep all the videos of when I played at the club and in difficult moments at Chelsea I watch them to increase my morale.' Thiago Siva is better than all 3 of those :D Yeah absolutely but my point is those three are very good players and Sakho has huge potential, I just don't see how they reasoned that they needed to spend 50 mil to improve an area of the squad that is pretty decently covered as it is.

Quote:Milan reject Thiago Silva bid
AC Milan have turned down an offer of nearly 46million euros from Paris Saint-Germain for Thiago Silva, owner Silvio Berlusconi has revealed.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has been locked in talks this week with PSG executives regarding the possible sale of the Brazil international to the Ligue 1 side.
However, Berlusconi confirmed that Milan have rebuffed an "extraordinary" offer from the French club and insisted Silva will remain at the San Siro next season.
"We have not changed our mind," Berlusconi said to SportItalia. "We had no intention of selling the player but we had received an extraordinary offer from PSG.
"We have always been clear and PSG should not feel let down.
"We told them from the start that we would take a decision once we had looked at the offer and seen what is out there in the market in terms of finding a possible replacement.
"They made us a very interesting offer, close to 46million euros.
"We considered the possibility (to sell) and we looked at the central defenders that would replace Thiago Silva but we haven't found an adequate player.
"The old heart of Silvio Berlusconi has allowed us to reject this offer."
Silva joined AC Milan from Fluminense in December 2008 in a deal worth under 10million euros.
He is under contract with the Rossoneri until June 2016.
Silva's agent Paolo Tonietto said on Thursday that if the 27-year-old was to remain with the Italian club then he would expect Milan to offer him a new contract.
The South American reportedly gets four million euros per season, five million euros less than the club's highest-paid player Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Milan are ready to placate him.
"Thiago Silva is a great man and we can find an easy solution," Berlusconi said. "We hope to have the best defence next season."
Berlusconi also brushed aside reports that Ibrahimovic will move away from the San Siro this summer.
Ibrahimovic was linked with a move to PSG and Manchester City this summer.
"Regarding Ibra (Ibrahimovic), he will also remain because he is the best in his position," Berlusconi said. http://www.football365.com/news/21554/7815081/Milan-reject-Thiago-Silva-bid

Quote: Albion Agree Kuszczak Deal Albion have signed goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak on a free transfer following his release from Manchester United - with the Polish international agreeing a deal with the Seagulls from 1st July. The 30-year-old has agreed a two-year deal and brings to the Amex Stadium a wealth of experience following spells in the top-flight at both West Bromwich Albion and Manchester United, making over 60 appearances for the former Premier League champions. Last season he enjoyed a fruitful spell in the Championship on loan at Watford and Albion boss Gus Poyet is delighted to have won the race for the in-demand Polish international. He told seagulls.co.uk, "There were clubs in England and abroad interested in Tomasz, but it says a lot for the ambition of this club that he wanted to sign for Brighton. "We had been tracking his progress for some time and he will provide real competition to both Casper Ankergren and Peter Brezovan for the goalkeeper's jersey this coming season - and that can only be a good thing for the team moving forward." Kuszczak started his career as a youth player at Slask Wroclaw in his homeland before moving to lower league German outfit Uerdingen in 1999. He then signed for Bundesliga outfit Hertha BSC two years later but having failed to make a single first-team appearance, he moved to The Hawthorns in 2004. Catching the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson towards the end of his first season, Kuszczak moved to Manchester United for £2.1m in July 2007 after a season on loan at Old Trafford. http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/Latest/0,,10433~2816820,00.html \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ Edited by gooner4life_8: 20/6/2012 04:25:16 PM
