I was nearly born in Adelaide :p

Surely it's not that bad. There really is not much at all to do around here either. Unless you're a surfer. Adelaide possibly can't be more boring.

Don't get me wrong, I love Newy, but obviously, it doesn't have the touristy/super fun things like Sydney/Melbourne.

Adelaide has strippers, pubs, an A-League team and cheap accomodation. That's why we're heading there for our end of season players trip.

Kia ora,
Since I'm sticking around here for a while I thought I may as well finally introduce myself.
I'm just a 16 year old girl from NZ who lives and breathes football, although unfortunately none of my friends actually care about it. I would love to be a pro footballer in the future, but as I'm a female it's not all that likely to happen so the next best thing would be to marry one someday ;) .
And I love the Wellington Phoenix.

Wow! that's cool! I used to go to these weird training things at home for players in my area expected to make Northland (rugby) for NPC and age-group. Sometimes Rene Ranger showed up! That's my only claim to fame sadly.

Actually I have another claim to fame. My great uncle used to be in the All Whites and apperantly he's still really good friends with Ricki Herbert. Unfortunately I've never actually met him.

Wow! My grandad was the goalie for the north island in the north v. south games in the late 60's/early 70's. That's probably my only soccer-based claim to fame, apart from being born in the same hospital as Jeremy Christie.

Looks like i have managed to avoid the ban stick this time round so i might as well tell y'all a bit about me.

I'm an ex TWGF member and had monogamous relationship with that forum since 2003. On the 1/10/10 it was cruely taken away from us all , So i came here looking for a new home. The fact that no one here likes me due to my “tainted past” has kept me coming back :p

I grew up in the typical aussie family watching rugby league (as i was born in NSW), and playing cricket in the summer. Discovered football when my younger brother started playing the game and had a vague interest in it from the 94 WC. After which i also registered to play the game. I Got interested in the EPL through the SBS highlights package that was on Monday nights and started to support Chelsea after watching them win the FA cup with Zola [*insert bandwagoner comments here*] Still followed League and cricket much more than football though but my interest in league waned dramatically during the whole super league dramas. Then I went to Uni in Newcastle (late 98-mid 04) and I now had a local team to support. I followed Newcastle united until the NSL was dissolved. I moved to Sydney for work at around the same time and have lived in western Sydney since then. Can’t say I really support an A-league team though I do go to Sydney home matches (and own Sydney FC merch thanks to mates trying to convert me) with reasonable regularity (as regularly as having a wife and with 2 kids one 3 years old & one 5 weeks old allows, my 5 week old son has already attended 2 sydney matches). And I have a mega soft spot for Newcastle but never make it to their home matches anymore. I get to all the Sydney Socceroos games. Football is the only sport I have any interest in these days :d

I got work in England for 6 months in 2008 and was able to see heaps of games through out Europe. Including Chelsea, Barca, Man City, league and Euro games, and a few international friendlies. :d

I play for fun in the churches league premier league reserves. Where I am a typical aussie box to box midfielder ie plenty of running and hard tackling and not much ability with the ball.

there you go everything you need to know in one helpful post.

Haters gotta hate

Sly I'm stoked you attend SFC matches.

I will be at the 'Roos match on Saturday also. I snagged three tix (taking my brother and my dad) and disguised it as a Father's Day present!

Cost me $270 all up, but a good excuse for a boys night out. I think I'll get them to shout the beers!

I also will be posting videos that i have made of the a league from my youtube channel, 'Fushnchups5588' I unlike many others have a soft sport for BOTH Melbourne teams as im from Melbourne, i basically support each one, but edge a little more to the Heart at the moment.
As a person im half turkish and half australian, i am in my teens and go to high school. I dont mind playing cricket and i dont mind watching 20/20 cricket, but soccer is by far my favourite sport, and im pretty good at it. I also have interests in geography and that knd of stuff and always want to travel the world (which i cant at the moment).
Well yeah that my introduction of myself.
