So rumors here in adelaide are that Hernandez is meeting with officials tomorrow for contract talks to move to united. I have no source just a few Australian football sites from Facebook so take it as you will.

I'm guilty of believing this rumour. I put it on the MV News Page only to be informed by another admin that he is in fact in Costa Rica. So no, he won't be an imbred next season. Thats all there is to it really

Id love it if he signed for West Sydney's new club.Apart from Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC i dont see why he isnt being chased by pretty much every other club in the A-League.

Because overall he is lazy and prone to going missing. Sure he will bob up with a cracker of a goal once in a while and even put in a good 45mins from time to time but overall he fails to get through 90mins and fades badly. Newbie fans may love this type of player but managers do not...had to laugh when Miligan gave him a nice spray in the last home game when failed to chase... and when you demand a wage of 300k you have to do more. If he was fit and was prepared to do more then maybe he would be worth it..maybe.

Look, I'll acknowledge that Victoria is mostly a better place to live than South Australia, but you must think a lot of the world is worse than a shithole if that's what you think of South Australia. He has been the same player since he started with Melbourne, Melbourne fans do not complain not just because he is leaving. He is an CAM his job is not to run back and defend all the time his job is to attack make goals simple.
just to add a bit of spice to this rumor carlos does not have to be here for talks to go ahead just his agents.
i think personally there is nothing really to the rumor just thought i would see if anyone new more on here.

More goals and creating more then any other Melbourne player with that explanation they might as get rid of kewell then to.

i can sdd...
Carlito IS in CostaRica atm... holidays.
He wants t remain in the A-League (overall)
Preference is to stay at MV and in Melbourne (where he loves it)
But will move to another A-Leaqgue club if he cant work it out with MV (likely adelaide)
His agent has spoken to only MV so far.

Bit conflicted about this potential move tbh. He's a great player in the A-League but just knowing where he's coming from is rather annoying.

I do agree he is the lazy type of player but at the end of the day hes got a great strike and is great in the attacking midfield position. The man has class and is skilfull. If he signs for a club that has a manager with a clear vision then im sure he would be a good signing and as for $300k i guess thats a little too much but if he'd sign for $250k id definetly sign him. Its not his fault both Durakovic and Magilton had no clue who was thier best player for each position as it was always getting changed. A good hard working defensive mid could cover up and do the dirty work offcource it wouldnt work if we signed a lazy definsive mid though or a usless one like McFlynn for instance.

Wasn't that the poll where residents voted on their own cities? Adelaide residents voted Adelaide the best, Melbournians are eternal pessimists and love a whinge so they voted pretty harshly. Melbourne was voted worlds most liveable city, but who gives a fuck :) On topic though I think for Carlos it will be stay in Melbourne as he has made it a home but if nothing materializes (including with Heart) I think he will just go back to Costa Rica rather than relocate his family and home again.

Actually Melbourne was. But I'll say it again. THIS THREAD IS ABOUT A FOOTBALL PLAYER NOT THE STATES ITS PLAYED IN AND WHO'S BETTER. which is clearly Victoria :d

His agent has spoken to only MV so far. Are you able to confirm that his Agent has only spoken to MV? What about other clubs contacting Carlos? You will soon find that most A League Clubs have enquired about the acquisition of Carlito! In regards to relocating, Carlos does not want to move from Melbourne, and even he has stated that, but if they are not talking to him (according to my sources) than he has resigned to move elsewhere in A-League reach for the near future. That being said, he is also very close to his extended family and does get homesick from time to time. A move to Costa Rica? Not forseeable if A League Clubs show interest! Stingray

Stingray Carlito has only just gotten himself a new agent (about a week ago). So, the real neg starts now. Most clubs cant afford him, Adelaide maybe. He wants to stay in melb, and i cant see him going to Heart, mainly cos of $$$s We all know how he loves his comfort zone, thou if Ange gets in, there wont be much comfort going around on the training feild. (side qu: do you think we could see the best Carlos ever with Ange pushing him??) I dont think going back to CR is what he wants. living conditions (family with young kids) is the main reason. he will stay in the a-league.
