Just got of the phone with my Football contact and he was informed me that el Zoro is putting in the extra yards in fitness and basic drills in his home country of Costa Rica. Carlos has stated that he would love to remain in Australia, and indeed, Melbourne, but he hopes for level ground in negotiations. Interest in Carlos has emerged from a club in Colombia's top flight, but he has only entertained this idea inpart, as he is focused on a return to the A League.

Also contrary to rumours, Carlos is not representing himself in his contractual negotiations and that he has recently looked to engage the services of a local (Australian) FIFA Player Agent. This would point to a very keen interest in staying Down Under.
