I don't mind smackdown but it is so lost at the moment, bring in a brand split have the head to head competition with Raw again, Spice is up and give it meaning.

Not sure if they means you bring back the PPV being a brand thing, 1 month its raw the next its smackdown. But I loved NWO when Eddie won the title, Raws Goldberg rocked up to a smackdown PPV costing brock the title. Was great. Ahh the good old days. Maybe I should just accept WWE for what it is today

Very hard to do at a live show.

I think it was muted for TV. It felt like the crowd mics got turned down and his music turned up in the mix watching it on TV. They definitely minimised camera shots of the crowd booing the win.

But I don't mind the direction they seemed to head in on Raw - having him as a tweener and embracing the boos.

He had that new line - "I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm THE guy".

He will be facing one of the most popular babyfaces right now - AJ Styles.

I am still hoping they use this match to turn Roman heel, but I think they will just follow through with making him the next Jon Cena - loved by kids, hated by everyone else.

I think the brand split could still happen - but I think it may be a soft brand split. Eg Raw and Smackdown are run by different people, but the roster competes on both.

I think the Shane v Vince story will continue to play out. Once they get all the injured guys back, and now with the new talent that debuted, the roster is pretty stacked. Some sort of split would have to be inevitable.

Regarding RedShirtWilly's comment that "Why not just have NXT as the "other" show and Smackdown can replace the other crappy shows like Main Event and Superstars?" - that won't happen. WWE signed a massive TV deal with the USA Network - Smackdown will remain a prominent brand. If there was any change, it would be a brand split.

They probably did :lol:, they definitely didn't bother yesterday on Raw though.

They are building owens up nicely, he is moving into the main title picture now. He has had a good US title run and a good IC title run. Hasn't been buried at all!
Most casual fans don't know NXT that well so they have to build them up again. Owens has not been on the main roster that long. Being built up perfectly.

Breeze hasn't had much of a chance. But with his gimmick he was always going to be a mid carder.

If adam rose had hia leo kruger gimmick he'll kill it. His gimmick is just the entrance. Vaudevillians debuting on smackdown

That is why id love the Brand split to come back and to have the World heavyweight champ on smackdown and WWE champ on raw.

Guys like Owens, Cesaro etc can be a champ on smackdown look at what it did to Edge, Eddie, Rey.

I watched wwe network last night, (free so thought why not) I watched the NXT specials they had, has a lot of behind the scenes stuff. HHH I actually odnt mind running the place. Seems very switched on with who to push and who not to push. Vince just not sure anymore on him.

Can't help but think if they did a brand split again they wouldn't split the titles so soon after unifying them. If a split happened I wouldn't be surprised if they did what they did with the old undisputed championship and have the champ on both shows.

Yeah - US champ on one brand, IC champ on the other, tag teams on one brand, womens champ on the other. World champ across both.

Given the Global Cruiserweight series they are doing, they may bring the cruiserweight title back - so perhaps Mens and Womens World Champ across both shows, but tag titles on one brand and cruiserweights on the other...

I'd probably have the tag and womens titles defended across both brands as well tbh.

The US Title is essentially the TV title now so that would be on Smackdown with the IC title on Raw with the other 3 defended on both brands.

Yeah I think that works as well. It can also actually provide more prestige to titles - eg the only way to be able to move between brands is to hold a major title.

Will also give the US title some more prestige with it being a stepping stone of sorts to a world title chance for superstars from smackdown.

Wwe need a proper rival . And no tna isnt one. Wwe dont need to try since they are the big dog. Jeff jarretts gfw isnt even in the same level as nxt .
