-Fulhamkid As previously suggested practice makes perfect. Use the side of the foot first if you have a friend delivering crosses, as it is easier to make a good connection. At first, have a player playing the ball back to you from almost in front of the goal, just to the side of it. As you improve have the friend play the ball more from side on, so it is a cross. Also, have them throw or kick, awkward bouncing balls. To volley, first practise with low balls, about knee high. It really is invaluable if you have a mate to practise with. If you shoot with the instep, make sure your head is over the ball. Your coach should also be devising ways of improving this facet of your game. Edited by Decentric: 4/5/2012 08:10:47 AM
