Surely we should have the official 4th round thread for Group B in the Australian forum rather than World Football where there is little traffic, or does that remove 20 threads a day from Joffa?

Group Australia is not competing in. Australia is not impacted by this group at all. There's no reason it should be in AF.

The initial thread was for Group B-Australia's group- focusing extensively on Australia's 8 games where the OP would have been constantly updated over the next 55 weeks.It absolutely belonged in "Australian Football" and was clearly titled to appeal to the mass of forum users that surf Australian football, rather than anywhere else on the forum

The clusterfuck that it was banned for was by a poster no-one knows and can't be certain will stick around.Infact it was such a pathetic(and still is)thread title that Joffa has now had to alter it!

This is a vitally important thread that deserves proper respect

As someone that went to South Africa and Germany, and many WCQ's over the last 16 years, someone that will go to at least 5 of our current final round qualifiers and to Brazil should we qualify I had a vested interest in seeing that thread flourish just as I have with the TV thread over a long period

Thats absolute rubbish Afro.Why would anyone re classify the Australian group to build traffic elsewhere.Why are single matches in AF, why are ACL matches in AF, why are single Euro groups in WF?

This, for me anyway was about building a massive thread, specifically about Australia's qualification,which would have all relevant info in the OP and that would in effect summarize all events with links to other threads pertinent to it in the OP .
If done correctly it has the potential to be the biggest thread in this forum, attracting proper in depth discussion, and involving many lurkers and casuals that aren't across everything.
It would be a place to discuss travel to those 8 matches, pre match meets

I don't particularly care that I'm not doing it, I just want it done properly, by someone that is a neutral(not a mod as they already have enough to do), has a track record and that is here for football that can and will constantly alter/add to the OP to see it as a proper index to the rest of the thread

Did it last WC and the thread had to be put into Part 1, 2 and 3 because it was so large, but it had fantastic discussion and served a totally different purpose to the current Asian generic one.Did it the WC before after the Uru game and once again it was a massive thread with plenty of contributors.
