Yeah for sure. Well im in 4th place and going to stay there. Had a decent season, going to try and challenge for top 2 next. quite pleased overall. Nico, as of now they have narrowed it down to three leagues you will be entering, V.121, V.107, V.57.
Because of your high amount of points you dont have to play a promotion match and will auto promote to one of those three. V.121 and V.57 are EXTREMELY hard leagues and you would be relegated straight back down to div 6. You may have a chance in V.107. It is extremely rare for a team to go up and stay up on their first time. I went up to v.109, relegated back down, and then came back and stayed. it sometimes takes 3 attempts depending on the league you go into. you will get bonuses for top scorer as well as auto promoting.

Ok sweet, sounds mostly good. Thanks for your help again. Its ridiculous to think that your teaching me so much about the game, yet I still won the Cup :P

Meh, i was playing a 2nd string side with only 2 first teamers. My first team is nearly twice as good as yours :P
Seems like you are getting the hang of it though. in my first season i barely won a game, but i was in a league with a lot of extablished human teams.
All this stuff comes from alltid.org. Its like the holy grail, any statistic u want just go there. Dont be afraid to ask me anything, however stupid it may seem.
A few hints now that you are going into a much tougher league:
1. Midfield IS KING!!! I cannot stress this enough. If you dominate midfield you will win the match. Try to improve your midfield as much as you can. Take note of your match ratings after the match (midfield, left right centre defence and attack) and try keeping your mid high.
2. When you are facing a team you know you are going to lose against (or a bot, where you are sure to win), then PIC the game (Play it cool). This improves your team spirit. If your team spirit is low, then your midfield suffers. Depending on your TS, your midfield can be twice as effective. If you play a game with a normal mindset it decreases TS by 1, but if you MOTS (Match of the season) it decreases it A LOT!. Only MOTS maybe one or two games a season.
3. Get a good coach. Good coaches help your younger players improve their skills faster. When you are buying new players on the transfer market, try not to buy any older than 24.
4. Increase your stadium size. This creates more revenue per week which can be used to help your team out.
5. Have a good youth setup. Youth players can be a gold mine for money and talented players. Whether it be a youth squad or just a youth pull system, having good youth players is essential.
hope this helps, and any questions are welcome

Helps a lot man. I've had a lot of thought and was thinking along the lines of what you have said for the first 4. I have a decent coach, will upgrade stadium by season end, etc. The only part I am not so sure about is Youth players. My Youth Squad is currently weak (was much lower) and I invest 10k a week (as I figured i should add something...). Will it just take longer to go up at 10k, or is there other advantages to investing more??? Either way, anything I have pulled has been complete rubbish so far...

haha yeah it will be at the moment you are using the youth pull system. I am using the youth squad at the moment because i have a few promising young trainees in there. Its your choice really. the youth squad is more fun (you play weekly games etc) but if you have a top quality youth pull system you can pull out great players week in week out

Okay. Do your players develop in Youth games? If so, similarly to League games or Friendlies? I don't think I'll switch over yet, but its surely an option for the future.

Basically you have 1-3 scouts (20k a week each) and you can ask them to scout for a certain type of player, and they give you little hints about them before you sign eg I have found a young guy by the name John Smith. I think with proper training he can emerge with solid defending before leaving the team. This indicates the level he will be at at 17 if trained properly

Yeah and after each game your trainer says: I watched John Smith in this game, i think his playmaking capablities are around the inadequate level.
When it comes to Scoring, i dont think Brett Stevens can learn anymore in that department.
Steven Smith works really hard, its one of his defining traits and so on so that helps a lot too. Yeah its lots of fun

I say... Lets keep it on topic ;)
I am willing to play second leg on 2 conditions :p
1. My home ground 2. After I get kicked out of cup (won't take long as you know)
That way I can buy myself some one new. I think I can hang on to a 3-0 loss by then... I hope.

haha. Ok i will explain. Hattrick is an online football management simulation game. You start off with a bunch of players (all simulated, not real) and you choose your best eleven with that squad by seeing who has the best skills. Your players have Stamina (for all players), Playmaking (mainly for inner midfielders), Winger (For wingers), Scoring (for your forwards), Goalkeeping, Passing, Defending and set pieces skills, as well as something called TSI (Total Skill Index) which indicates the overall skill of the player
Each week you have a certain amount of income and expenses depending on your Stadium size, how many players you have, and how good they are (better players have higher wages of course) and how many staff you employ etc. Your income is determined by how many supporters you have following your team (if you play good of course you will get more followers) as well as ticket sales.
You start in the lowest league; in Oceania that is the 6th division. There are 8 teams in each Series (Series = Leagues) (there are like 360 Different Series', or Leagues in division 6, then half of that in division 5 and so on). You play each team home and away which adds up to a 14 round season, with a national cup running throughout, as well as the option of setting up midweek friendlys.
You use the money you earn to buy yourself better players, coaches, Staff, and to make your Stadium larger. It is completely free and is played by almost 1million people. I heavily recommend it, and i will help you with anymore questions you may have :)

Whatever is above the line in your table. Depends on your league. Also have play off spots I believe. Its all on your leaderboard thingo. Mine only takes top spot.
Search for a young player. I'd look for passable passing and passable playmaking if you can find it. It depends on what actual position you want obviously. Although imnofreak will be able to direct you better anyway...

Try to buy solid players atm. Im not sure if that will be enough, if not just build up some more money. Dont buy passables anymore, save and get better
In div 6, (where you are) only one team has a chance of promotion Half of the league leaders in Div 6 get automatically promoted, and Half have to playoff against a div 5 side. There is a link called promotion on the league page, on the bottom right

I have 3 or 4 excellents. No formids. I was considering buying a new player, but thought I should save to upgrade stadium. After i do that I will start buying players again.
