Just train what your younger players are better at. A good key is that playmaking will help you win games! If form gets bad train in General. Though definitely, if you have good younger players with a skill level fairly good (eg, a 19 y.o defender with solid defending) train that skill.

I'm sure imnofreak will tell you if I'm wrong. :p

Ones that are shite :D. Can you give me a list of players or something. I didn't know I'd actually have to pick them...

Not bad, not bad. Captain - sell the players who dont come close to starting in your team AND that you arent planning on training. Buy 3-5 young players of the same primary skill and train them all up. Once they increase in one skill you can choose to sell them for profit or keep them for your team.
BUT before you do any of this, get a coach with at least passable training skill, dont bother much about his leadership skill, makes it too expensive for you atm.

What have i missed... i know there is something...

until i remember... Try buying 17yr olds with passable or 18 yr olds with solid. Good start for you.
thats it!! Hire 8 assistant coaches and 2 GK coaches as well, helps training. If you dont get GK trainers your GKs form will plummet, not good.

try sell the ones with low passing skills if they're mid or strikers. if they're good but with low passing skills keep them until you can get new ones with better passing skills.
