Start reading what the manual I guess. Read this thread too as much as there is crap in here. I'd have a look through your players too. Find whats good, and see where you need improvement. Post them here if you want. It will hard to know whats going on, but you won't have a game til Sunday (unless your in the Cup?), so there is some time to figure out whats going on...

I'll post a decent lineup of your players in a few mins.

First up you should probably put your training intensity at 100% with 15% put towards stamina (works well for me).

Judging on your players id think a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3 would be best formation, and imo youd probably benefit from either training PLaymaking or Scoring (playmaking is probs better as you train more players- 3 inner midfielders in your league game and 3 in your friendly match, plus half training which Wingers recieve)

-This is just a Lineup for the current players you have, but id say you should invest in some young 17-18 y.o passable to solid(playmaking) Inner Midfielders depending on what you can afford, and train them up to make a profit.
Maybe buy a winger with better secondaries than Lizotte aswell.

Its also important that you take into account Players secondary skills, they have a big impact on how well that player will play/rate, its better to have a player with passable PM and inadequate Passing than having a player with Solid playmaking and poor passing.

would have to buy a new one, so its good to get solid at the start even if you dont have alot of money. the cheapest option is to make one of your players coach but it will still be expensive ie. inexcess of 1-2 mil.
