Quote:Garmin cycling team boss denies report of 6-month doping bans for riders in Armstrong probe A director of Garmin-Sharp has denied that any of the cycling team's riders have been banned for six months by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency as part of its doping probe into seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. Jonathan Vaughters said Thursday that a Dutch media report about six-month bans is "completely untrue." Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported Wednesday that Vaughters and four other former Armstrong teammates have been given six-month bans to begin in late September. De Telegraaf cites unnamed "well-informed sources" in its report that Vaughters, George Hincapie, Levi Leipheimer, David Zabriskie and Christian Vande Velde received the bans after admitting to doping and agreeing to give evidence against Armstrong. Vande Velde and Zabriskie are part of the Garmin team. Hard luck to Goss. He's trying hard, even at the intermediate sprints, but just doesn't quite have the power to outlast the others. I also think he's going just a little bit early judging by some of the replays.
Renshaw looked zippy at the intermediate sprint though!

Massive crash lots of riders down at least half the peleton in it, Greenedge and Cadel ok Frank schleck has been cought and has preety much just lost any chance in tour, lost major time.

France as a country decided that the 'flat' stages were too easy though and crumpled itself up for your entertainment. So we're now 6 days into Le Tour...how long until we hear about a positive doping test in this year's race? Place your bets!

Robert Gesink and Leipeimer have both fell off the peleton and Van dan broek had a bike problem and has lost time. Team Sky has completely destroyed BMC, Evans is on his own, Ivan Basso and Schleck also fell off.
Michael Rogers should go on a team where hes the main rider, i remember he was going to win the tour once but fell off and broke a bone.

Nibali rising as a true contender cant see anyone who doesnt finish in this group as a winner.
Nibali, Evans and Wiggins finish in top 4, Evans finishes 2nd while a team sky rider came 1st suprisingly.

Haven't been able to post for a couple of days because of been away. But anyway, it's not looking good for Armstrong. It all seems very fishy as Girt said it's a little blow to Cadel's team. But Hincapie and co will supposedly be allowed to finish the tour. I think we will see some huge fireworks after the tour.
Now on Friday night's stage. A huge crash with many leading riders losing a lot of time. I still haven't even seen the crash yet.
On yesterday's stage. Sky were just to good, didn't really rate their team to Cadel's but it looks like they have proved me wrong. I'm still not convinced by Wiggins just yet. I just don't think he has that acceleration you need on the climbs. I think Cadel couldn't of had a better start to his tour.
Hopefully we see some good racing tonight.
On a side note Wiggins hair looks shocking.

 I dont think there is any footage of the crash, Nibali has said he fears Evans more then Wiggins and tbh Cadel looked better yesterday, hes the one who attacked. Again i dont think anyone who didn't finish in the top 5 y'day can win the tour we're already seeing big time gaps and it looks like Cadel will be on his own again. It's the tour and anything can happen. But I don't think anyone out of the top 5 can win either. I think we will see BMC and Cadel go hard tonight. I think SKY will be a little cooked tonight, Wiggins acceleration on the mountains looks dreadful.

I must say, I quite enjoy how SBS brings back the coverage from the ad break. Commentary is always class. I would be extremely disappointed if someone were to buy the coverage off them.
