Sky is to this decade what US Postal was to the last decade.

Would not surprise me if they're pumped up to the gills. Thought the same last tour. For the sake of the sport I hope not.

Agree. Especially considering Wiggin's less than rosey past. I can see where their strength comes from, as it really is a strong squad on paper, but it's hard not to be sceptical when a team dominates like this.

Saxo bank had a strong team if I remember correctly for a few years when the schleck brothers were killing it.

Didn't no green edge offered Porte a contract they should of tried to get Rogers as a main rider. Seemed the commentator was yelling at Tan then.

I remember last year me and you were questioning Froome, I'd never heard of him and he came out of no where like a machine carrying Wiggins.

Froome didn't really come out of nowhere.
He started racing proffessionally at a late age so he was very impressive from the start being a strong rider within two years.
Usually you hear about riders that have been around for a few years.

The distance between Froome and everyone by tonight I feel will be unbeatable unless he destroyed himself last night.
And then stages 14/15/16/17/18/19/20 will make it harder for other serious competitors to catch him.

I was also a little disappointed with Van Garderen :-(. I thought he might have been a chance this year.

It's not over yet, still a fucking tonne of climbing to come and a lot of time for things to change.

Am I the only one, who after seeing Richie Porte last night, hopes something happens to Froome and Porte has to take the lead of Team Sky.

That Quintana attack last night was also just awesome to watch, thought he may have been able to keep it up and win the stage but unfortunately not.

Have no fear about Sky, Pat Jonker has just explained how Sky are winning because they decided to recruit riders with the best physical capacity possible. All the other teams must have just been pulling random people off the street to ride for them.

Pat Jonker should just shut up.

No Doubt Sky have an amazing team.

Froome put in the third fastest time ever on that final climb, beating Armstrong and Ullrich in 2000.

Tonights stage.

I remember driving up Peyresourde on our way to Tarbes after the stage into Bagneres du-Luchon in 2010. Not the worst of the climbs in that area by any means (i'm thinking Tourmalet, d'Aspin etc), but damn our little Peugot 206 struggled up it!

Hopefully someone besides Porte actually goes with Froome tonight :o

Yeah it's so wrong, but so easy to do. Froome pretty much finished this thing last night.
