Scouse has got Perez Cuesta(i.e Michu), Maiga for 1m each. first bid made on them at 7:40 on the 4th. Was looking at getting Michu before realising the sneaky bastard already had a bid on him just not using his nickname. Your the one person who looks like fucking up my plans Scouse.

Michu looks like a good buy. Maiga could be a hit or miss if he plays as a winger or a striker and if he is used to replace Cole over the season. With big Sam at the head you can be guarenteed for some shit football but they scored a lot of goals.

On a Unrelated note 8-[ will this part of the auction automatically finish at the first game so if I say bid on someone say 3 days before the season starts will he be mine for the first game if no-one else bids on him then after the 1st game you have to waite to get your first player on the 1st of Sept?

24 players need to be sold to fill the squads. There are 17 up for sale atm. So we need 7 more players nominated before the 13th.

Just some more detail on the auction process and how it will be split up for those who haven't been keeping up.

I will close player nominations on the 13th. If we're short on players then I will nominate average players for you, so try and make sure we've got a full list by then. The deadline will also be reduced to FOUR days from the first bid as of 12.01am on the 13th.

All auctions should then (hopefully) be finished by the 18th, which is the day of the opening round of fixtures. I assume the first match kicks off at 10pm, so the auction will be CLOSED at 8pm on Saturday the 18th.

The window will stay closed until Monday the 3rd of September at 9am. So for Matchday's 1 and 2 we'll only use the 4 players we get from this round of the auction.

There is then an international window, and no more games until the 15th of September. So the Window will be open from the 3rd-15th. Same rules as this round, and everyone has ample time to get their 5th player in.

N.B - In regards to midweek games and confusion as to what 'round' it comes under - we'll follow the same schedule as the official Fantasy Premier League for that.

I'm a bit confused, how long does a player need to be yours before they're sold?

A player will be sold 5 days after he was first nominated/bid on, providing there have been no bids in the 12 hours preceding the deadline. If there has been, the deadline is extended until there is a 12 hour window with no bids.

I've explained this at least 8 times :lol:

So eg, Tevez was put on the market at 7.31pm on Saturday. He will be sold at 7.31pm tonight as long as there have been no bids between 7.31am and 7.31pm. If there was a bid at say, 3pm today, the deadline would be extended until 3am tomorrow morning. If there was another bid at 6pm, it would be extended to 6am, and so on, until there have been 12 hours with no bids.

As it stands, if the current people with top bids win their players, then -

Sweet - happy with the squad so far. Hopefully can get two strikers as the auction finishes.

Stoked with my four players. Three strikers who should go alright and a goalscoring midfielder who should bang them in playing in Sigurdsson's role in the Swansea midfield.
