Yeah, with three bots in your league you will stay up anyway. You're so lucky.

I don't have 3 bots. 1 is a bot and the other two are from div.6 :p
But yeah, the aim once more this upcoming season is survival.

Sold my Outstanding winger for 1.8 mil euros. Going to splash it on defense. But its not all great news in the Valiant camp, with my other planned kid of profit in wretched form. I did however recruit a solid goalkeeper for my youth. And a solid passer, 15yo, named, Stephan REBEL. A definite future 1st teamer, not for sale. Edited by hmterraaus: 7/9/2009 07:57:09 PM

Nice youths, i haven't had a decent scout in ages, i have three of them in different states as well.
I've got about 8 mil or so, looking for a young midfielder with some decent secondaries.

Hattrick is down. It's past its estimated downtime. I was bidding on a formid defender, with solid playmaking at 1.6mil. Then again maybe I should just spend the 2 mil I have on more than one defender, with say excellent def, and a lower playmaking subskill. My best defenders at the moment are just passable! but they do have good subs. Edited by hmterraaus: 7/9/2009 08:07:55 PM

Yeah they aren't too crash hot in keeping to their deadlines, no worries though, all the transfers get postponed and some time added on to them from memory.
I'm just starting to realise i can't keep to my gameplan of having the majority of my players below 23 if i want to promote this season, i might have to foray into the market for some cheaper 29-31 y.os in defense and gk to strengthen my lineup, should all be in place by the end of this season.
Just a question for anyone who's given training goalkeepers a go, was thinking about changing my training in a season or two, once my midfielders are established and i get one of my young guns into the barbados national team. is it worth training them, or is the profit not as much as say PM or Defending.

Ive had a Solid winger called Ira Quigley, sold for only 200k but he was trained into an u20 player for oceania, other than that my best was a solid IM that i trained until he was about 19 and i sold him for 4-5 mil.

I change it around, depending on what I've just done. Usually interchange between PM and defending, occasionally winger and scoring.

I train defending, turned an inadequate wingback into excellent defending and solid passing, just sold him for $1.18 million. My first decent sale TBH.

Im realising the same thing, but change promotion with surviving . Its impossible to get young supernaturals, they dont exist haha. My Best Youth is Eddie Brush. Hit brill PM at 18/88, has passable passing and Tech Special. U20 scouts have been sniffing around. They say he hasa big shot at next seasons U20 WC quals. I train PM almost always, only stopped when I had a gun youth keeper, who I ended up selling as an 18yo outstanding and making 4mil on.

Youth team won 11-0 today, with one striker netting 5 goals. Brilliant. First game in the new league too. Stamping my authority. I want the title.

Hoping for no injuries.
My opening match of the new season is a big one. Will go a long way in determining who comes 4th and who comes 5th.
Lead 1-0 after 4 minutes. New winger scores within 4 minutes of his debut.

I forgot this was a cup match, and I set the orders ages ago, pretty much when the fixture was made available, so I just set out my team like normal.
Then, at about quarter to 12 I thought...SHIT. Cup match. Bot. Oh no. So I frantically logged on to try and change the team, but when I got to the matches page, it was 12.46 and the chance of changing the team had evaporated.

Ah ok. Unlucky.
3-0 up :) Two goals in two mins, one to one of the solid strikers, and one to the same OT trainee that got the first.

3 up as well.
That was my captain who was injured as well.:(
Hopefully its only a 1 week injury. Wishful thinking. If not, I'll just snap up a replacement for cheap.

This is a PM I have in my youth team. He's reached his YT potential of passable PM, but should I wait til his passing gets better til I promote him? He'd 6 stars atm.

What else does he have? Have you tried training scoring for him?
