FFS I am so over Hattrick right now. I cannot finish a match with all my players in one fucking piece. Excellent defender is injured for 7 FUCKING WEEKS. This in addition to the injury of my formid winger and my formid defender for 5 weeks.
Lost 4-0 to a very good team today. Not bad considering I rested my super PM out of fear of him being injured too.
Broadmeadow Olympic is starting to unravel.

Haha, cheers Funky. I'll battle on, but its not looking so rosy at the moment.
Saw something which cheered me up a bit. Still running 4th on the table, 3 points between me and 5th.

The freaks had no hope, his midfield is very good! Tier 5 in Oceania looks very tough! Its a bit like tier 8 in Germany were I will be promoted to next year if results continue. I won 4-0, sitting second after 7 rounds. I bought a brilliant playmaker 1.8mil with passable subs, 14k tsi. Sold my wing trainee 1.8mil. The key defenders I bought the other month with the other wing trainee funds are injured and the team is lacking backups, but they're going well. First team will look like soon. Excel Solid-Ex-Formid Formid-Ex-Solid-Bril-Formid Pas-Pas Yes Ill get strikers when I have the dosh.

Oh! I have 1 excellent 33yo striker, with excellent passing and formidable experience (the older the cheaper), BUT! I didn't see that he was injured! epic fail. He's been on the sidelines for 5 weeks! 1 more to go. He's technical. I'm going to play him as a defensive forward. He will hopefully create absolute havoc for at least a season.

Just did some nice deals on the transfer market. Sold my solid keepers for 458k and 330k, while I sold my divine SP for 50k.
Just been looking for players on the transfer market ATM, but there aren't really any good buys going off right now.

I'm finding players are becoming more expensive to buy, more expensive than what the 'transfer compare' players were... at least for the players I'm after. Anyway, how about that 442 CUP?! Is there a 442 forum/group/federation on the hattrick site?! Edited by hmterraaus: 26/10/2009 12:41:51 AM

Nope. 442 cup didnt maintain enough interest (from me to run it, and from people to be involved) so we just let it go.

Oh, you're not allowed more than 10 of anything. Then it causes unrest. But 9-10 is what I have

I was just wondering if anyone knows what's the difference between the gray stars and the fully yellow stars?(when the players get the ratings)

The greyed out stars is how much impact the player lost throughout the course of the game, (this is due to his stamina).
The filled out stars is how much effect he had at the final whistle, and the greyed out stars are the amount of effect he had at his maximum in the game.
So, eg, a player finishes the game with 2.5 stars filled in, and 1.5 stars blanked out. This means he finished the match with 2.5, and at his best was at 4 stars.

Have I missed the boat on this federation thingy?
Today, I bought an excellent defender with excellent passing for 500k and a supernatural PM for 282k.

afromanGT wrote:How old was the PM? :? 33. Thats my train of thought these days. Buy older, cheaper players who are good, then once past their use by date, I sell him and maybe a trainee to get more money for older, better players. I actually now have 2 supernatural PM's. Gets the job done. Sitting 4th in div.5 and that's pretty good for me. How's your HT team going Afro?
