gutted. we outplayed united, led 2-1 with ten to go. stupid penalty and then bad defensive read.

anyway, missed opportunity and a big improvement on our poor first up showing against blacktown.

You guys were definitely the better side over 90 minutes. We were poor for the entire match aside from the last 10 minutes when we started to get desperate

Two average performances in 2 weeks but still sitting on maximum points. Can't complain I guess

round 1 we were terirble v blacktown, deserved to lose.
round 2 we were by far the better team and lost. that one hurst. bring on marconi!

Pfft, a few thousand? Get your hand off it. You'll be lucky to get 1500. Marconi don't travel, and you boys seem to be playing the same game as last year, talking about how big the crowds are, but in reality, there's about 1000 people max that'll watch the 1st grade game.

Mate 2, 000 olympic fans is not hard so I dont see why they wouldnt be expecting more

Also 90% of nswpl clubs dont have fans

Bankstown Council is giving the pitch at Jensen one last sewing before the NPL and WSL seasons get into swing.

Unfortunate timing, as it's the perfect neutral venue.

Rockdale v United had a very big crowd last weekend.

They don't get anywhere near that. We all know that. How can a club that has 2k in attendance, so on average, 25k on the gate, each week, 275k over the season, still manage to not have enough money to pay its players at the back end of the last few seasons. As an insider, I know this is the case, until youth rego money comes in...

Like I said, in the 2k attendance, you are probably counting all of the kids and their parents who are playing in the lower grades throughout the day, 90% would have gone home before kick off in 1st grade. There's probably 1,000 in attendance. Judging by what I've seen at the games I've been at. Of which, about 500 are paying to get in.

Now your 90% figure on other clubs is a bit of a fallacy. Bonnyrigg, united and Rockdale all get decent crowds. Demons and wolves aren't too bad either.
