Proud of the lads, came back from 0-2 down to win 4-2. That said, the other team was shit and we should have smashed them.

Yeah, meant our cup competition.
I think Tiny was the last one left in the Oceania Cup. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Won my friendly 4-2 last night, which would have been rewarding had he named more than 9 players.
The second strongest team in my league just went bot. That's fantastic. I have a feasilbe chance of avoiding having to play a play-off this season.

FOUR FOUR TWO HATTRICK LEAGUE SEASON 7 Round 1Broadmeadow Olympic v Beresfield United Freaks FC v Celtic Raiders Afroman FC v Marconi FC Avnell v Liverpool Victory FC Newcastle Revival v High Valiant FC Round 1 of the New 442 HT League kicks off in style, with a huge Grand Final rematch between Freaks FC and Celtic Raiders. Elsewhere, League stalwarts Afroman FC and Marconi do battle, while a clash of the titans is on the cards between Newcastle Revival and High Valiant FC. FC Avnell will want to kick off their season against Liverpool Victory, and Semi Finalists Broadmeadow Olympic will want to do the same as they kickoff against Beresfield. So, get challenging lads. Full fixture list is in the Opening Page. Team Names and Numbers are in the opening post too. Also want to start filling the records section, so let me know when you start getting some big results etc. Edited by Funky Munky: 10/9/2010 07:35:52 PM

Quote:I have found what seems to be a great prospect for you. He is 15 years old and is called Russell Waldron.
Right now I would say his Playmaking capabilities are around the disastrous level. I would say as an allrounder, he's wretched. Coach this player right and he will reach his potential of wretched Keeper before you know it! What a horrible player. Edited by imnofreak: 11/9/2010 03:49:39 PM

Accepted.
 I'm actually suffering from the same financial strains as Newy so not sure if our bid will make it either.

Operating at a loss atm because Carl Baker's Salary is almost 300k, I have put in a notice that i will sell him to the NT of Barbados so someone else that will keep training him can be found, I'll put him up here when i place him on the transfer list too, just incase any of you fancy owning a NT player or something...

 Not necessary man. With the amount of traffic we get in here it stays on the front page anyway.
And if we sticked this, we'd have requests to sticky the Lounge, Girls thread, WFMB, WGMG... you get the picture :P

The 2nd string striker Roger Hersbruck opened up Valiant's season with a hattrick. So much for weak form. Edited by hmterraaus: 15/9/2010 08:51:04 PM

I'll make an effort from here on. It's alright, you got Afro in the first round, who I don't think was on between me announcing it and the match kicking off, so you both missed it:p.

One pop this week. Formid to outstanding defender. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. Could have 6-7 pops to defenders.
Bought a future coach the other day. Brilliant experience, passable leadership, titanic playmaking.

Well, I beat top spot 1-0 which is awesome \:d/ However, I missed SIX chances including a penalty. Check out the table: And guess what the fixtures for the next two weeks are (same teams back to back, as it is halfway point of season)? 1st v 3rd and 2nd v 4th. Very epic.
