Could've all been so different had tricky not tried to place that shot and just put his foot through it. Oh well always next season, and have the NPL finals to look forward to.

Great finals match out at Edensor yesterday as the Suns show keeps rolling on.

Much respect for the huge Suns travelling fans who made the game feel like it was their home match.

I guess so. Rockdale got up in penalties. Much less of a headache now for fnsw, no bonno & united final.

what a game, what a agme. had everything. when reid smacked it against the post in extra time, i thought it had gone in and lost it! anyway, we won the penalties.
reid and ursoevski were great for us today. everyone put in.
overall, i thought we dominated the game and outplayed united. our boys up front kept running all game and putting pressure on the united backline and reddy who almost got caught out a couple of times.
so so happy for everyone involved at the club from our players, coaches down to our army of volunteers and helpers.
we dominated in the stands too. seriously, where were the united fans? we outnumbered them at their home ground. it was great to see so many of our fans make the trip from rockdale and rest assured, the numbers will swell big time for the grand final.
we should have richie back too which is great for us.
anyway, sweet victory against our old coach rudes.

In some parts, rockdale looked sharper, but lacked the final product. First half was evenly split. Second half, you were gifted a penalty, somehow our player was infront of rockdales, and still called the penalty, biggest joke if I ever saw. After that and right up until penalties. We dominated. Mirjan changed the match when he came on, and should of buried two chances in extra time to win it.

The better team lost.

Credit were its due, rockdale fans came in numbers… outnumbered yes, but not outsung, didn’t hear a peep from the rockdale fans unless they scored, or won the penalties.

agree we lack the final product at times but the boys upfront ran their socks off and are getting better. mate you guys won a debatable penalty of your own, he didnt even issue a card. either way, it was silly to go near him cause the ball was going out.
we defintely had the better of the game.
you guys should never have been allowed to score the equalizer, i cant believe how much interference was allowed in the box. our keeper was shoulder charged by mirjan at one stage and not even a free kick.

and to keep going after conceeding in the last minutes of stoppage time, not to mention coming from behind early in the game, and without cardozo, says something about the character of the team under branko.

anyway, it was a high quality game thats for sure and someone had to win it.

agree we didnt outsing your boys, not sure why we didnt get our chants going, we were too enthralled in the game.

anyway, as i said before, bring on bonno. should be a cracker.

our under 20's were terriblyunlucky to lose the semi final in extra time. we could of easily had both senior teams in the decider!

The keeper didn't get a freekick when charged by Pava because he still held the ball so the referee played advantage, not his fault Barcena decided to put the ball straight out.

Was definitely a high quality game, 2nd half especially, just 100mph stuff. I would have enjoyed it if I wasn't about to have a fucking heart attack in injury time :lol:
