you know the drill

stones - glass houses
pot - kettle black

I wasn't at the game so can't comment on it specifically. But I do remember bringing out stats last season to show that the Spartans had by far the worst disciplinary record in the whole league. From memory, they had 7/8 red cards while United had 1 or 2.

So hardly a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Considering the poor discipline of the side last season, I'm not surprised to hear that things may not have changed too much from that aspect

Having said that, I have no problem with it. If the Spartans feel they need to play that way to be competitive then that's their call.

We actually fielded 5, 17year olds that game, plus trialists, we were just too quick with the one touch passing and speed for them to cope with, hence their rough play, i dont know how their number 12 stayed on the pitch. We missed shit loads of chances and felt that we should of won.

Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

You can repeat the same quote all you want.... it won't make it hypocritical.

Like I said, your side had the most yellow and red cards last season. Many, many more than my club. So what makes this a 'pot, kettle, black' situation?

I didn't say other sides were perfect.

Here's that record again:

40 yellows, 7 reds. That's the most yellow cards (only APIA match that with the next closes side being Manly on 35) as well as the most reds (4 is the next closest)

listen cards aren't the "be all and end all" that tells the story... ....you can get a yellow for tapping the ball away, pulling a jumper, taking your shirt off when scoring, calling the linesperson a name.......OR you could just get Kris griffins jones and have him fuck the flow of the game and hand out yellows like library cards, because we all pay our entry fee to watch him right?

I agree, and over one or two games they really indicate very little. But over the course of a season they do tell a story

It's not so much the yellows anyway, it's the reds. It's almost double any other side in the whole league. I dont think that's just a huge coincidence, there's a pattern there.

I think it would be good exposure for the NSW NPL, hopefully get more people who don't follow it to turn up to league games during the season.

I thought we were discussing the potential crowd at Olympic Games with your new star signing. That somehow turned into you talking about how many players Rockdale have lost and how poor their side is??? I'm pretty sure you've mentioned that a number of times in previous posts. Need new material and need to try to discuss topics coherently, lev.
