450 to 650 my estimate Knew it wouldn't last. Not funny tbh. We need to be strong from the bottom up. How are we going to be strong from the bottom When the A league is struggling it self Sydney fc had 7 k last wknd they announced 10 k lol I wonder how much the clubs in the NSW Premier league will get from the sale of wsw Ummm bet they get zero How is the A-League struggling?? Would a NSWPL match get 7k to a game in such adverse conditions as last Sunday?? I think not.

Big Wally wrote:MACEDONIA wrote: Will state league clubs be given more than 3 k if they sell a player to the A league
Well yes actually, it's 10K for a players first professional contract and it's 6K for a players 2nd professional contract, when switching directly from an NPL club. Re WSW sale, indirectly, yes. The FFA provide funding to the Federations to run various programs, including the NPL and elite pathways programs (NSWIS or whatever it's called these days). WSW sale would contribute to the FFA bottom line, and therefore enable such payments to be made to the States. If the FFA was broke or losing money, they wouldn't be paying out to the States. And would the A-League exist without a broadcast deal? No it wouldn't. Neither did the NSL... So what point are you trying to make? Why the chip on your shoulder about the a-league. This is the State League area... Effnik bitter with a grudge because they won't let his club play in the A-League.

So its ok for the state league clubs to spend 150 k to 300k in players budget per year on average could me more and to win 30 k at the end of the season
They pay 70 k odd to participate As for ffa i wonder how much money goes to there wages
So we going to sell wsw wanderers and not a single cent is given to grassroot football
Are we serious our a league is a very poor standand
Full time players who can concentrate on playing to there best ability
THE a league has put us back 10 years from want the nsl was
lets take out all the foreigners and

There's no prize money in the A-League...
Clubs like Sydney pay millions above the FFA funded Salary Cap. Clubs also pay annual licence fees of around 100K.
I don't quite understand the point of your rant?

South Coast 0-1 Bonnyrigg.
Pretty dire performance by the Wolves but a pretty good turnout by the public. Great to see the Wolves back at WIN Stadium.

Looks like Rockdale vs Bonnyrigg will see a quick exit
Top 4 semi finalises qualify for ffa cup
Teams knockout in the quarter finals plays each other Interesting
Who writes these football nsw reports The Person who wrote the match report wasn't at the game Fails to mention Olympic missing 5 clear chances in the first half
Both penalty claims weren't penalties God we have spastics writing match reports
Team of the week is another joke fnsw employees are a joke

You are not the grassroots. You are the parasites that charge the parents of juniors thousands of dollars so that you can pay wages to the senior players in your self-serving league.

Self serving on whom!? Where do you think all the Australian players come from to play in your beloved Aleague. Where do they play their junior football?

Especially in regards to Warren. He'd struggle to get a gig in an AA Sunday Afternoon pub league.

Especially in regards to Warren. He'd struggle to get a gig in an AA Sunday Afternoon pub league. I presume you dont watch much NSWPL? The jump between it and the Aleague is huge nowadays. For example, look at players that regularly top the goalscoring charts like Younis, Payne, Mayora and Glavas. All monumental failures in the Aleague. Then players who regularly feature in the team of the year like Stravoulakis, Nikas, Studman, Mileski and Tadrosse whom also all failed miserably in the Aleague. I could list more examples if you like. Since the national compeition went professional, the gap has continued to grow and players who are not quite good enough for the Aleague still continue to dominate the state league. Now I am not at all saying Warren will be a success, but he will definitely be suited to the NSWPL. You should get out to some state league matches and take a look at the standard for yourself.

Increasingly, they are coming from the upper middle class because they are the only ones who can afford to graduate through the 'developmental path' these ex-NSL clubs 'provide'.
