Would have jumped to 1st if not for Bonnyrigg conceding two goals in injury time against Blacktown.
Edited by sydneycroatia58: 10/4/2016 06:17:36 PM very good game both teams had great chances to put goals away in the first half.. united had 2 balls cleared of the line and a few one on ones, olympic too had a couple of one on ones.. Manos is a freak :p Second half united put the game to bed For the last 4 games in a row we've kept clean sheets

Gotta make a special mention about Pani Nikas, he is having a great season for us thus far, already bagged 8 goals, which includes a hat-trick against Sutherland in the FFA CUP. Hearing that Tomislav Uskok could be joining us as early as this week

About time we got a striker, haven't had a proper one since Luka Glavas retired and Mirjan left. I believe he scored 4 or 5 this season. doing well too. handball in the box. but something might of been said to the refs after the match, but I am unsure what happened.

Had a double in consecutive weeks and then the pen on the weekend.

You definitely right sydneycroatia 58 Payne is definitely becoming deadly for us upfront. I have not seen this team play like this for a long while reminds me of the Melbourne Knights 95/96 side squad playing like a team and like gangters.
From what i hear Eddy Bosnar is on 4 - 5 week suspension he was saying 10 .

19 -SU-58 I hear Tomislav Uskok had a fall out with the current coach of the Mariners. I am hearing he will be joining us against Blacktown Spartans. It will definitely add more firepower for us..

Edited by franceticjure1941: 13/4/2016 09:23:45 AM Spoke to him yesterday, he had his first training session with us last night. he is just waiting on papers, which he hopes to get on Thursday. here is a question to you and sydneycroatia - How many players in history have now played for both Sydney United and Melbourne Knights? 1.Good to see and hear that Tomislav Uskok is with Sydney Croatia 2.I think personally Mariners have lost a good player our gain - to me mariners are a state league club on steriods 3.With him in our team it only adds firepower / strength to Sydney Croatia 4.Full credit to you 19-SU-58 and Sydney Croatia 58 posts on this forum 5.Your posts are most the up to date info compared to sydney uniteds facebook page.

Spartans 0-3 United.
Including the FFA Cup that's now 6 wins on the bounce, 5 clean sheets and now top of the league thanks to Hakoah beating Blacktown. Debut goal for Uskok as well
