6 wins on the bounce, 19 goals in those games and conceded 2. 29 goals in 8 games if you include the FFA Cup. great result., We did get awarded 3 penalties in the first half, but from where I was standing they all looked clear cut to me. We will wait for the highlights. Bring on APIA this weekend

Wouldn't say the comp is weak or lopsided, we've just managed to get into some good form early on. On paper, we're exactly where we should be and Rudes finally has the squad clicking. It's worth noting that in our last 6 games, 5 have been against the sides currently occupying the bottom 5 spots on the ladder. APIA will be a much better test of where we're at right now. They havent been in great form but their squad isnt too far behind ours. Any squad that has Nikas, Payne and Mileski should be scoring for fun.

Agree, form side so far and by a long way, but injuries, suspensions, rotating players, midseason acquisitions, team morale, and taking opposition lightly at times, will all effect results as the season goes on. Also seem to be getting the rub of the green on some decisions so far, it all evens itself out over the course of the year. But 6 points clear of the pack 7 weeks into the competition, can pretty much confirm a finals spot, just not sure where yet.

APIA have dumped their coach and replaced him with Cummins from their 20s. Not sure what to make of that in terms of this weekend's fixture.
Last year we were in good form and came up against Rockdale who were in atrocious form but had just gotten rid of Culina... we ended up losing that one after looking comfortable at half time. Hopefully history doesnt repeat

Hopefully history doesnt repeat yer big call this early in the season. I'm sure after last seasons form they expected being in the top3 already but its early days. Heck I'd be more concerned where o lym pic is not 6th on the table 9 behind United at present. Hoping to make it out - should be a cracker of a game.

Maybe it was more a case of the coach walking than getting the chop, it's supposed to be a difficult job at that club

The first Sydney derby between the NPL clubs of Sydney FC and Western Sydney is going to be fucking juicy if only 2 points separates them. When is it?

Another solid win. Nowhere near as polished as some of our previous performances but youll always take a 3-0 win away to APIA. APIA had a few half chances but, aside from the late first half header, i dont remember them having any real clear cut chances.
Bonnyrigg at home next week. Theyre not in the best form but Stav is out suspended and Triantis went off injured yesterday. If he doesnt recover it leaves a huge hole in the centre of the park. I assume Uskok will be shifted into midfield and Nikas will play deeper. Yianni didnt play yesterday, not sure why. Dont know where Bosnar is either

Only last week? Spoke to him the week after Blacktown and he said he was expecting up to 8 weeks.
If he's not available and Yianni is injured then our core is severely weakened for next week. Will be interesting to see what Rudes does.

Stava will serve the suspension midweek and should be available next week.

I remember one swerving effort from long range being punched away and a couple of regulation saves. I agree though, we weren't fantastic but did more than enough to win. Once Triantis went off it was obvious we were happy to sit deeper, absorb their attacks and try hit them on the counter. Does Stava's suspension count for the Cup game? If so, he'll be back for Bonnyrigg.
