A typically bruising derby encounter between Broadmeadow and Raiders saw the home side limp away with a 1-0 loss, and 3 injured players. Elsewhere the were massive wins for Mongrel FC and FC High Valiant, and Liverpool and Afroman played out a fairly dull 1-1 draw.

I gotta admit using a lot of 1sts since I have no cash for 2nds and this season has been a disaster (again). Hopefully I can buy some cheap players soon, which would be good as I just switched to short passing training rather than crossing as that will give me more pops until the end of the season.

The bulk of the squad is 21-22 and world class. All I need is the 2 wingers to pop up from around excellent to somewhere better and another WC defender, then I think I can finally move up to the 7th division.

Played a fucking shit team and lost for the second time against them this season. I even MOTS'd this time to make sure I'd get the points.

I had four clear chances, hit the crossbar and he had one chance in the 88th minute and they scored. Complete domination in every single statistic, except the scoreboard.

Strongly considering giving up this game. It drives me up the wall.

To rub salt into an already gangrenous wound, my supernatural defender got injured.

Only two matches played this week, and both finished with the same scoreline. FC Avnell disposed of Raiders, While High Valiant firmed as leaders on the ladder with a strong win over Mongrel FC. Broadmeadow 'earned' a walkover against Freaks, and there was no play between Liverpool and Novacastria.




So just under half way into the season, and the table has already split open. The top 3 seem secure, and then it's an all in shit fight for what could be a very important 4th spot.

How the fuck is this happening? This is now becoming a joke. I am 2-0 down after 33 minutes and have conceded THREE PENALTIES, two of them saved by my keeper.

I have a better team than most in my league, but get my arse kicked every fucking week and I am sick of it. If I could, I'd throw the rest of my games to get relegated, but I'm too far ahead of 7th to make that happen.

No, not really. I train defence and the following is from my match ratings, which is why it so baffling why I got flogged, conceding FOUR penalties in the process.



I played 5 in the backline and those players' skills are as follows:

Maybe you're overcrowding your defence? Switch to four?

I usually play a 3-5-2 and never get flogged so badly. I play 5 at the back when I want to be more defensive and if I line up like that, I usually end up with a point.

Point taken, might just try 4 at the back next time I want to play defensively.

What's your rating for the formatino ith 5 at the back? Could just be that the players arne't used to it.

For a 5-4-1 my formation rating is outstanding and also outstanding for a 3-5-2.

I'm confuddled then.

As am I. Which is why I'm pissed that this game has decided to hate me so much.

Might just be one of those seasons. I had one like that two seasons back. Nothing goes right.

But your midfield and attack are really average. Your attack is getting trounced despite your awesome defence. Buil up up forward and you might put up more of a fight.
