Must say that I have posted on a few forums over the years and 442 has the best social aspect by far.

So lads, solid crew we've gotten together. What shall be the venue, what shall be the time of kicking off pre-drinks. I understand some will be coming straight from work, so understandably 4.30pm sounds like a good time to start. I'm guessing most people won't be driving and will be training it, so I suggest the Royal Hotel opp. Carlton Station on Jubilee Road.

I'll be driving in but no prob having a couple of lites !

A while ago I floated the idea of getting a few of us together and having a forum football match. My round 3 m80 weekend seems as good a time as any to try and get this idea up and running.

If we say lunch time on Saturday Oct 24th(Sydney Derby day) on a pitch in a nice central location in Sydney do we think it's doable?

There are a few little parks around Moore park that we could use surely.

There's decent grass parks across the road from the stadium. At worst, could duck into Centennial Park.

Proposal below:

Date: 24/10/15 (Sydney Derby Day). Lunch time kick off say 1pm?

Venue: Sydney (Probably somewhere in the parkland around Moore Park)

Format: Depends on numbers but hopefully we can have a full 11 v 11 match if not we will just play with smaller teams and reduce the pitch size.

Teams: Once again could all depend on numbers. Being Sydney Derby day it could end up being SFC vs "All stars" or WSW vs "all stars" or we could even just go school yard rules.
